The thing about the sharks crowd is, if they filled the joint at 13k or whatever it is they could at least claim that they used the available seats and getting a bigger crowd is just a matter of capacity. See Manly for example who are living the "we want suburban football" mantra

There is no way that fixture doesn't get more than 10k in that timeslot at the SFS

It’s very easy to sit in an arm chair and whinge about a crowd and then suggest moving the game against an out of town team to a venue nowhere near the fan base and magically come up with a hypothetical crowd figure. Meanwhile the sharks are back in the 8. Sucked in!

I'm not suggesting it be moved, just making an observation.

It's hard to reconcile their claim that the fans want park footy and it would draw less at a bigger venue with a crowd like that.

And yet when the stadium didn’t have reduced capacity the club crowd average was way higher

I’ll go with the actual post I responded to and not the follow up equivocation.
The sharks crowds will only improve once the ground reaches its new capacity and that’ll be a few years yet. Until then each week we’ll see the same flogs endlessly whinge about it. It won’t change anything but is cute to watch.
