After 20 Rounds

2024: 148 games Aggregate 2,839,315 Average: 19,185

2025: 148 games Aggregate 2,931,626 Average 19,809

Up by 3.25%

For a normal season record 3,939,710 is required or an extra 1,007,884 in 56 games at an average of 17,997
Why cant we include Magic round n Vegas to this tally?

Broncos vs Eels update:

Black - basically sold.
Purple - stadium members - it's been a while since our last Friday game. These areas should look decent on Friday.
Blue - available.

The goal to 20m line of level 6 & 7 should really be repriced as 'corner' because there is no demand up there when priced at $60 for a child and $80 for an adult. Hopeful that the ticketing rep will do this sometime today.

A few more seats will be released in level 5 once flexi members have done their part.

With pricing adjustments the game sells out and restricted view will need to be released. Without pricing adjustments we probably manage to sell what is listed now, plus seats held for one game memberships but we end up with 38-40k rather than 41k-43k.

Open air corporate boxes & private suites have sold out - Fridays!

In any case this is the game that is tracking the worst of our remaining games. The map for next Friday against Souths is basically identical, and corporate boxes & private suites have sold out for that game too.

Broncos will finish with a 40k+ average and bulldogs with 34k+ average. Outstanding! We also will have a bunch of teams with 20k+.

The goal should be get all the teams between 11-19k average to get to 20k averages, and the teams averaging 20ish into the high 20s.

20k is the mark.
If we can get the majority of clubs to that it would be fantastic. For that to happen you need a decent 25k stadium, we should rarely be entertaining anything below that.
When you have:
Shark Park
Kogarah
Leichardt
Wollongong
Brookie
Campbelltown and now hbf Park...

We have a long way to go.

The idea of a " stadium member " should be banned or illegal for public stadiums.
We're basically giving people the right because of their deep pockets to essentially own a public space ( prime public space)
Absolute blight on our society .
Corporate greed in the highest order.

Gongs capacity is 22k right,
you could do one of two things. one, build a great big grandstand where the hill is, forever changing the place but also...bringing capacity up to about 30,000

second would be to scrap the WIN stand, rebuild it to the specs of the newer grand stand and wrap that all the way around and fill in both corners. then you have a 3 sided stadium and hillville..slightly less capacity but keeps the vibe of the place

I'll take option B thank eddy.
Nice, neat and new with the hill on the water. Couple of palm trees at each end of the hill.
Would be the best stadium in the league!

I think upgrading all suburban venues will not be possible but at least moving a few key games a year to bigger venues that can get 30-40k and really bump up their average.

Like saints moving a few big games to Allianz. Same with manly, tigers, sharks.

That way we don’t have to upgrade and maintain 6/7 suburban venues with 25k capacities. Some upgrades would be good though.

Cronulla have missed the finals only once in the last decade. They're serving up decent footy. The NRL needs to sit down with them to see why exactly they're dragging the chain and how to turn it around. Where would they be if they were the Tigers?

Clubs should then be putting on $10 tickets, kids get in free, event day experiences, etc really marketing the crap out of these big games and getting a big crowd. Look at what the bulldogs and warriors are achieving and taking inspiration from that.

My dream for Saints should be playing 2 games at kogarah: titans and cowboys. 7 games at an upgraded 25k WIN. 3 games at Allianz - roosters, souths, bulldogs.

They could average 15-17k at kogarah. 18-20k at win. 30-35k at Allianz. Giving them an average of well into the 20k.

Brookvale is the only Sydney suburban stadium left that needs major upgrades

They deserve it too

Sydney's over 1.1 million aggregate on like 63 games.

Could be on track for the first aggregate of over 1.5 million since the 1970s which is very cool, especially as it will be done with like 40 less games.
Ooh a rabbit hole, probably shouldn't go down there... ah, dammit...

What did you make the Sydney aggregate last year? I got 1.537 million from 89 games in the regular season.

2023 -- regular season
Sydney -- 1.406 M, 85 games, average 16,545
Other NSW + ACT -- .576 M, 36 games, average 15,993
Brisbane -- .808 M, 30 games, average 26,949
Other Qld -- .449 M, 27 games, average 16,628
Interstate & international -- .518 M, 26 games, average 19,919

2024 -- regular season
Sydney -- 1.537 M, 89 games, average 17,266
Other NSW + ACT -- .574 M, 34 games, average 16,893
Brisbane -- .867 M, 31 games, average 27,973
Other Qld -- .416 M, 24 games, average 17,340
Interstate & international -- .545 M, 26 games, average 20,963

2025 -- regular season ytd (round 20)
Sydney -- 1.133 M, 63 games, average 17,981
Other NSW + ACT -- .421 M, 24 games, average 17,537
Brisbane -- .675 M, 24 games, average 28,141

Going to be in Parra next week. Is there a section of Commbank the Storm fans will be in? Cant see any specific area for away fans identified on ticket sales site.
