Ooh a rabbit hole, probably shouldn't go down there... ah, dammit...

What did you make the Sydney aggregate last year? I got 1.537 million from 89 games in the regular season.

Other NSW + ACT -- .576 M, 36 games, average 15,993
Brisbane -- .808 M, 30 games, average 26,949
Other Qld -- .449 M, 27 games, average 16,628
Interstate & international -- .518 M, 26 games, average 19,919

2024 -- regular season
Sydney -- 1.537 M, 89 games, average 17,266
Other NSW + ACT -- .574 M, 34 games, average 16,893
Brisbane -- .867 M, 31 games, average 27,973
Other Qld -- .416 M, 24 games, average 17,340
Interstate & international -- .545 M, 26 games, average 20,963

2025 -- regular season ytd (round 20)
Sydney -- 1.133 M, 63 games, average 17,981
Other NSW + ACT -- .421 M, 24 games, average 17,537
Brisbane -- .675 M, 24 games, average 28,141
Other Qld -- .276 M, 16 games, average 17,265

Na, It was over 1.5m last year, I must have gotten the figures mixed up.

Playing 1/12 games at NSO isnt going to help. If we play that game at Allianz and can get 25k+ it will help. One big game at Optus with 30k+ and 10 games at HBF with 17k and we'll hit 20k ish avg.
I would have your first game at Optus ( stand alone) then every season after, open with a double header at Optus.
All games need to be in Perth.

Watch it from the concourse

If you get there early you can get the ones on the sideline
Did that at last game on the concourse, bought cheapest ticket and stood and watched, I prefer to stand for games anyway. Thought it'd be fun to sit with fellow Storm fans if there is a specified area.

Gongs capacity is 22k right,
you could do one of two things. one, build a great big grandstand where the hill is, forever changing the place but also...bringing capacity up to about 30,000

second would be to scrap the WIN stand, rebuild it to the specs of the newer grand stand and wrap that all the way around and fill in both corners. then you have a 3 sided stadium and hillville..slightly less capacity but keeps the vibe of the place
23 and change I think, around 13 seated.
30,000 to equal Newcastle would be great.

I heard a few years ago that the old style Southern stand was to be replaced by one in the style of the Western stand and there would be a wraparound connection. Nothing has happened so I’m not sure whether the guy was just spinning a yarn or not, but it sounded feasible.

Going to be in Parra next week. Is there a section of Commbank the Storm fans will be in? Cant see any specific area for away fans identified on ticket sales site.
Bay 209 is the Away supporters bay for Commbank games. It’s located at the Southern End of the ground on the second level looking over the corner post. It’s not a bad spot to watch games from as long as you don’t require wheelchair access etc because there is none. Tickets are available to purchase on Ticketek for this bay specifically.

I'll take option B thank eddy.
Nice, neat and new with the hill on the water. Couple of palm trees at each end of the hill.
Would be the best stadium in the league!
Gong as a 25k+ venue whilst keeping the view would be great. Double tier grandstands on 3 sides and all corners, low-ish single tier grandstand with concourse overlooking the beach on the eastern side.

Like Tigers @ Campbelltown, Dragons might need to commit more games there to get the funding. Personally I’d prefer Newcastle done up first for regional NSW venues but Wollongong needs something too.

There is nothing to suggest Sunday's Canterbury vs Manly game is selling well unfortunately.

Seemed like an inspired choice to schedule an all-Sydney clash on a Sunday afternoon at the new Allianz, but may prove to have backfired (especially as last year's Canterbury vs Manly R27 clash drew 35,502 at Accor).

Perhaps a rare misstep this season from Canterbury.

*EDIT*

Transport for NSW has revised down its estimated crowd figure to 'up to 30,000' - the initial travel advice page suggested a crowd of 40,000 was being planned for.

If the crowd figure eventually comes close to 30,000, we're living in a strange alternative universe where that's a disappointing outcome for Canterbury, so strong their attendances have been this year.

Depends if you are counting attendances or tickets sold
Even for attendances it'd be kinda disingenuous. eg 50,309 didn't show up at Suncorp to watch Storm v Raiders on magic round Sunday, it just happened to be preceded by Panthers v Broncos. Have mentioned before that I do throw them all in for a related (& trivial) "how many people watched you play" stat.

If this plays out, treating it as a neutral venue will benefit the Dogs home ground average. Will anybody still be bothered about that?
