Based on last year crowd might’ve cracked 40k at Accor

If it’s counted as part of their crowd average it will actually be reducing it

Manly should’ve taken one of their home games there not dogs

It’s a surprise I would’ve thought the new stadium, the novelty factor, the form of both teams, the gf replay, the time slot etc would all lead a big if not sold out crowd.

I think to me it shows that an upgraded Accor has an important role in the Sydney landscape for west based teams.

Upgraded accor - dogs, tigers
Allianz - roosters, Souths, dragons

^that would definitely have something to do with it. It’s a shame memberships couldn’t be incorporated for this game or at least heavily discounted tickets for members.

Why wasn’t it included ?

Is this an nrl event or a dogs event

I saw dogs members get 20 percent off

30% discount...

Not sure why it wasn't included! It's a Bulldogs event, from memory this game was TBC venue wise for a while until they confirmed it would be at Allianz.

Dogs probably tried to sell a game to someone and didnt manage it so have to pay rent for the game at Accor, hence why they are charging for it. Presumably the membership price was based on the confirmed number of games at Accor originally.

Early crow but surely Tigers v Dogs at Commbank next Sunday gets 25k+

poor form or not Tiges fans would absolutely love to give it to Galvin.. Dogs will bring their fair share as usual aswell

what’s the record for a non eels crowd at that venue?

I think with that problem they have at Suncorp with members who don't turn up to games (making the middle look empty) the solution is to have a member's chook/cash raffle (free tickets) each game.

Outside of Broncos and Warriors, the rest of the games this weekend are looking like they'll under perform.

Roosters v Storm still has a lot of category 2 tickets left in the lower bowl and there doesn't appear to be many buying into the away bay. Match is arguably looking better than Roosters v Titans (14,101), though I don't know if it will get to Roosters v Raiders (17,223) level.

Not sure what to expect for Cowboys v Dragons. Considering the timeslot and recent performance of the Cowboys, a low crowd would be understandable, however there are large chunks of tickets which have moved in bays 223, 230, 232 - 234 & 239 - 242, which may see the crowd closer to a 16K versus a 14K.

Panthers v Wests Tigers is currently trending for 12-14K. Sales are very similar to last week's Panthers match, with the only thing in the game's favour is the better timeslot.

Rabbitohs v Sharks is selling similar to Roosters v Sharks earlier in the year (13,399) and feels like it has paused in sales this week, whilst Raiders v Knights is selling terribly and looking like it will rival the Titans game earlier this year (9,650) for lowest home crowd for Canberra unless members turn up in decent numbers.

The Bulldogs v Sea Eagles game is a decent chance of getting over 20K, with some strong sales in the past few days in the lower bowl, and additional seats being put on sale in Level 2. A decent crowd, but an under performance for what the Bulldogs have achieved this year.

Most were hoping for 30K+ up until a week ago. Bulldogs have been quite successful with event games the past two years, and the fact the club hadn't yet played at Allianz, there was a belief, rightfully or wrongly, that this would a relatively easy sell.

Clearly that hasn't been the case. Whether members are annoyed that this wasn't included in their season ticket entitlements, pricing is too high, venue is too hard to get to, don't care for the opposition, concerned about Saturday's rain stretching into Sunday, a combination or the above or something completely different, this game hasn't resonated with the Bulldogs supporter base.

The fact that the Warriors match in August is arguably selling as well this far out implies that it's not a case of fans being disgruntled with the club.

The Broncos have elected not to discount level 6 & 7 in goal seats, so it's selling slowly, but there is movement. Unreserved flexi seats are up now and we will need to shift quite a few tickets tonight and tomorrow to hit 40k+. Not impossible but I'm feeling more confident in 38-39k unfortunately.
