I heard that interview. MCG also said they prioritise marquee events. SOO yes, but not 40k v Warriors. Please no. That place sucks.
A few months ago I remember listening to an interview hosted by Whateley (I think) on SEN and they were interviewing whoever was in charge of the MCG. During that interview he was asked the question about the Storm potentially playing a game at the MCG (this was after the 9 news report on the Storm wanting to play a game there which is why I listened to the interview). He mentioned that the Storm hadn't put in a request yet but it most likely wouldn't get approved during Gather Round because they want to preserve the playing surface due to the constant action it was seeing. I might try and find the interview if I can and post it.
It's slowed right down since around Tuesday. Threat of wet weather looks to be putting people off buying (outside of the main grandstand which is sold out). Fingers crossed that any rain on Saturday is restricted to the morning.Great crowd was there also an afl match in town too, makes it better. Has kogorah sold well for the local derby.
Surely!! Be close to a sell out, one team coming off a good win against top of the league and then the other team a good chance at the top 4 and playing good footy.Hope it's better than the last local derby Dragons v Sharks crowd.
Wouldn't be hard lol.
Promising to see some very visible movement in sales for the Dolphins match with pretty much the number of available silver tickets halving since yesterday.Another upgrade for the Brisbane forecast tomorrow, now 1-6mm of showers. Wetter in Sydney though.
I got home about 1am this morning from the Storm game. Traffic was at a standstill on Swan St and Hoddle Street..Thursday night!!! These Storm crowds are amazing!
congratulations awesome supportKnights season 224,881 after 11 games, average 20,444. Still to come Broncos on a Sunday at 2pm.
Should be the Knights 12th season with 20k+ average, second only to the Broncos.
Last year was the Knights best ever, 271,623 from 12 games at an average of 22,635.
Imagine how many sell outs they get when they get back on winning ways.Knights season 224,881 after 11 games, average 20,444. Still to come Broncos on a Sunday at 2pm.

Amazing crowd. Poor timeslot, terrible form, bad weather still show up.
Just hope Canberra fans turn up in big numbers against Wests as playing Canterbury in the first week of the finals is a real possibility, and they'll take up a huge chunk of the ticketing allocationABC: Canberra crowd = 14,527
