2025 First coach sacked

Robbo probably doesn’t go until the off-season in the worst case scenario. He’s got enough goodwill in the bank. Ryles probably has enough time as a rookie coach to see off the early season casualties.

1. Payten
2. Benji
3. AOB

I think everyone else should see July no matter what.

1. Payten: He is the clear favourite for mine. More performances like that on the weekend will see him out by mid-season. They don't have a success-loyalty type bond with him. I think he'll get the punt at some point this season regardless of if he is the first or not.
2. Webster: To me, he is the only other guy with the real chance of being punted this season. Three guns that carried them to success are no longer there nor been sufficiently replaced. I think he is in trouble.

The rest of the coaches in the NRL I think have longer leashes than these two. Others in danger of being punted this season are...

Benji: He has a longer leash as I think all he needs to do this season is have the team improve their performances. If they don't improve the way they play, Richo will pull the trigger.

Im not seeing any other coaches getting the punt this year.

Robbo: People are poking fun at Easts right now....but the fact is their 6/7 and 9 are injured or not upto it. I still think they will challenge for the 8 and Robbo will be given some grace. I expect Politis to make some roster moves as the year goes on.

AOB: He has made the 8 three out of the last four years and has Brown coming in next year. Their roster is a decent one who I expect will push for the 8 again. A disaster season probably sees him out the door.

Ryles: 1st season.....no chance.

Unless Ryles punches someone, he's safe. Even the old Parramatta board wouldn't have looked to pull the trigger on a first year coach and the current board is a lot more conservative and measured with their decision making now.

For me it's Benji & Payten who are most at risk, with Robbo & Webster being outside chances. Benji will be let go if the team is struggling halfway through the year (or if they finish the same or worse as last year), Payten is gone if it looks like he is going to be a yo-yo coach.

Robbo is unlikely to be let go this year, simply because there isn't an obvious coach out there for Politis to try and replace him with, and as for Webster, the Warriors have struggled to attract decent coaches for the club, so I don't see them rushing to pull the trigger either.

I can't understand why anyone would want any club to not play well .I want all clubs to be professional and strong to make it an entertaining game for all supporters. All clubs have to go through a rebuilding stage at some time. Even Storm went through it in 2001 and 2002
