Flanno Jr is now at over 110 games in the NRL.

He should be considered a senior player/veteran yet doesn't get near enough scrutiny.

There are straight astounding statistical anomalies in the NRL. Danny Levi has 139 NRL games. If you've ever been a Manly, Raiders or Knights fan , this would be astounding. Yet here he is. Is Flanno jr in that category?

Levi like Flanagan showed a lot of promise as a junior which rarely translated to FG.
Levi had one really good patch of form for us in 2019 before hurting his ankle which was easily better than anything FlanJu has ever produced. Outside of that he has been below average.

FlanJu is a better halfback than Ilias though, which is an absurdly low bar.

Zero chance Flanagan gets sacked

They’ve given dud coaches five years or so

They bombed a lot of games early in the season they should’ve won they aren’t too far off

Flanghan to 14 with cook and illas released / playing nsw cup for next year with Atkinson coming in to play half with that Tonga guy he goes ok

Conulla - 9 (2 seasons)
Roosters - 20 (1 season)
Doggies - 50 (3 seasons)
Dragons - 33 (2 seasons and counting)... this needs to be nipped in the bud so he doesn't play more games for the Dragons than another club.

Looking at his stats, I can say he's a decent goal kicker (76.9%) and fits the Dragons beautifully as a half who does not kick field goals.

Current power rankings:

O’Brien
Flanagan (rife nepotism)
Payten
Seibold
After the Raiders flog Knights at home in Round 17 is the perfect time to axe AOB. Origin media coverage and bye week for the Knights seems the way to go.

Actually, I can't see a coach sacked this season... but we should have 3-4 new coaches in place for 2026 season... depending on where they finish you could make a case for change at Sharks, Broncos, Cows, Manly, Dragons, Tigers, Knights and Titans.

I don’t think AOB is going to be sacked until they can fix up the roster a bit. A new coach would be under pressure right away with a side full of dud spine players we’re trying to offload, zero middle forwards and a bunch of rookies. IMO they’ll keep him there to keep taking the hits while ever the side is still trying and punt him for someone else when they feel the roster is in better shape. I’d personally sack him because I’ve never liked him, but that’s the impression I’m getting.
