Fair play to the Sharks thought they were very professional and Trindall won the big moments v Easts. The carry on in talk after the match was a bit much for a round 1 finals win imo, Ronaldo talking like theyd just won the comp when they (hopefully for them) have 3 big games to go. Wonder if they've played their GF.

Raiders will be devastated, the physical and emotional toll extra time would have taken on them is hard to measure. Back in 2011 Wests scraped through after the 100min semi V Easts, whereas NQ got belted after their 93 min final in 2016.

No pressure on the Sharks, the +5.5 seems way overs to me, think they get it done in a close one.

Tough one.

My heart says Raiders. The fans want a Raiders/Panthers grand final. Can the Raiders bounce back after that game yesterday?

I also think the Sharks have a bit of the 2022 Eels about them. Very experienced outfit who had been written off well before the finals had even started. They are one of 6 teams left now. Could easily sneak a win here.

Just an idea for the NRL.

I’m sure a lot of the Canberra supporters and Bulldog supporters have bought up big for the GF this year.

Maybe there could be a meeting point at both games this weekend where Canberra supporters can offload their GF tickets to Sharks supporters and the same with Bulldog supporters to the Panther supporters?
Given Penrith and Sharks supporters don't travel outside their council zones, the meet and swap will have to take place in the carpark at Shark Park and Penrith Stadium. Site inductions will need to be carried out and PPE must be worn before entering both building sites.

If this was on neutral territory I'd be saying the Sharks, but I don't see Raiders losing two consecutive home finals. Raiders by 2 in another thriller.

How do the minor premiers get screwed with a 6 day turn around while Cronulla (5th), gets 7 days and the Penrith (7) get 8 days snd tDogs (3) get 9 days.
NRL; you’re off your f**king head

Blame that on the Raiders whingeing in the leadup to Week 1 about a short turn around. Nobody to blame but itself.

You keep saying this. I can only assume you refer to yourself using the royal plural.

There is a lot more in this world than LU mate.

Go to your local and have a few conversations. You might be surprised by what you hear.

Thats a load of horse shit, and I've seen you post the like across the threads.
Sharks defence killed your inept team tactics, if your ego cannot see that, then you are exactly like your coach.
He got out-coached by his apprentice.
Sharks went dirty, your team couldn't handle it.
Get over it, or learn how a game of rugby league runs.
The king of shit takes and rose coloured glasses. No on exists outside Bondi

BBB, every Sharks game week preview thread this Rooster supporter always bags the Sharks and tips the opposition. If you go back through the threads each week you’d see it every week. But you have better things to do. You won’t get any logical discussion from him.

We could win the Comp and he wouldn’t give us any credit. He’s a bit of a hand waving Teddy…. lol.
That's not true at all

I just don't believe they will win this week. That's hardly a controversial view point.

In 2016 the Cowboys barely showed up in the prelim against the Sharks after beating the Broncos in extra time in a fast paced slugfest the week before

It'll be interesting if Canberra are up for it after the epic.

Echo chamber delusion.

Yes I'm afraid you have become a victim of it. Acceptance is always the most important step.

Easily fixed my friend. Support your team this week at the pub. Or if you're a neutral consider buying a ticket to the game it should be a cracker.

Raiders should win here. They’ll open up a lead like they did yesterday and unlike the Broncos those f**king Sharks are NOT always in a f**king game of f**king football unfortunately. Canberra by a dozen.
