Storm have only really hit their straps in maybe half a dozen games this year. At their best they are very hard to beat. Sharks have been building in confidence this last month or so and won’t die wondering. Sharks by 2.

Funny, that's exactly what we think.
You’ll be right he mainly favours the favourites. Especially the six agains. Then the merkin will sneakily give meaningless six agains to balance the ledger a bit at the end in garbage time. How anyone in charge of referees could think he’s even a top 4 ref is beyond me.

Sharks should go in with a 3 point plan-
1. Run at Grant, make him do 80+ tackles.
2. Run at Hughes, especially THE shoulder and arm. Send AFB right down Jahrome Street all night.
3. Profit.

Sharks are mentally weak, but when it comes to Melbourne they're generally not, and Melbourne are not very good.

Storm will be too good even with Hughes being busted. Cronulla have been really good the last 2 weeks but Melbourne in Melbourne is too tough.

Very much doubt that Hughes will play. I just think naming Hughes to start is a Bellamy tactic to take the media pressure off Pezet who I think will start.

Blore is a big inclusion. Amazing recovery from an operation for a fractured larynx.

I think Melbourne will win this in the air with 2 great targets in Coates and Warbrick and a tertiary target in Katia. It was surprising that after the NRL announced a crackdown on blockers a few weeks ago that the teams most likely to benefit ie Roosters and Melbourne hardly used the bomb to their wingers.

This match though I expect plenty of aerial ammunition from the Storm , especially little dinky kicks to Coates by Grant/Munster/Pezt/Wishart etc to get him 1 on 1 with Sharks’ winger Katoa . The lower trajectory kick is easier to catch and prevents Katoa from having a running leap to get extra height (as he did so well against Toupou )

Tries to Coates/Warbrick/Katoa

Hughes playing seems a panic move from Bellamy. Pezet was their best player a fortnight ago, is fit and clearly not over awed by the situation. Theres no way Hughes shoulder or arm could be right, surely theyd back themselves to win and another 9 days rest to have him right for the GF.

$3.05 is massive overs for Cronulla, I give them a massive chance here. They have a good recent record against the Storm, a big middle rotation who wont let up and tall wingers to help negate their opposite aerial threat.

I'll tip the Storm purely on experience but they'll need to improve massivley from what they dished up against the Dogs. An upset wouldnt surprise at all.
