In a weekend of sliding knees, elbows and forearms, a lazy tackle is the only one that finds a suspension. The next Judiciary "re-think" needs to place more judgement into deliberate vs accidental.

No excuse for Lawton not to cop a week.

It should be the easiest thing in world to rub out tackles like Lawton’s; make it a real suspension. Every time a player gets tackled around the head everyone calls ‘accident’ but there can be no mistaking what you are doing when attacking a guy on the ground. It is deliberate and cowardly.

But the media has spent years making guys like JWH into tough men; pussy cats when the game needs to be won but grubs it up when the game is lost.

Yeah. Stuff like Latrell on Manu (tackle gone horribly wrong) to me was far less egregious than when he elbowed SJ for no reason.
