The Judiciary found that the Grade 2 charge was insufficient, and thus decided to punish the Rabbitohs further by letting him play the Bulldogs.

Jack Whighton didnt even get charged, did he.

This one for Sipley looks suspiciously like another case of the low profile player loading being put to full effect

Agreed. It all happened in the one movement, not sure how you get hip drop out of that.

Apparently there are no accidents in rugby league anymore.

It's amazing how far less of these "accidents" happen now after the nrl cracked down on these "accidents" a couple of years ago.

Genuinely unclear how people think there was nothing wrong with the tackle tbh

I'm surprised it was referred direct, but he was around the waist, lost his feet, swung onto the legs. It was basically textbook for what they created the name hip drop to mean. I do think there was an element of accident to it, mind you, but that doesn't stop high shots missing 2-3 weeks at times.

What, nothing for Euan Aitken's vicious hip drop that almost broke poor Burton's leg? Lol

The MRC actually seem sensible with them this year but the bunker has lost the plot
