Just be thankful that channel 9 no longer controls what the bunker sees. Could always tell by the replays after line drop out calls as to who they were backing.

The other classic was the attempt to cover up the Burgees squirrel grip. Player clearly hurt but no replays at all or mention of the play

Think he was 2 injuries away from a NSW call up, maybe 3 pending on how people view Lucas at the Knights
I myself am disgusted with how much i love him (and Sharpe) and i'd have him ahead of Preston but i wouldnt argue with anyone that has Preston ahead of him

But at the very least - Gus, Martin, Huddo, Ola and if you consider Barnett an edge/middle tweener.. are all ahead of Preston imo

The grading system and judiciary is a joke. Who in their right mind (Matterson excluded) is going to the panel and maybe coping 2 weeks instead of accepting the fine? The NRL really has to get serious with this. Can't have such a big discrepancy between accepting a fine or potential suspension. There should not be an option of a fine or suspension. The charge should either be a fine only for a minor offence or else you miss X weeks if deemed serious enough.

The NRL are loving it because as you say no one is going to risk a suspension when they can take a fine thus they are admitting guilt and the NRL is vindicated in their decision.
