No 1 - Mebourne Storm. Barring injury Bellamy will have them to a point where they are unbeatable. Could be a big grand final score.

No 2 - Bulldogs
Mid 2022 I made a comment. The Bulldogs are closer to a title then us. Whilst they may not this year they are going to be in the mix for the next 5yrs.

No 3 - Canberra
Another side I predicted to start their grand final march. 2026 I felt was more likely but they are a genuine top 4 side this year. I rate Ricky as a coach. He knows what it takes.

No 4 - Penrith Panthers
Saw enough on the weekend. Ivan's slowly getting them into their groove. Nathan showed why he is the best halfback in the game. Blaize Talagi is only going to get better every week.A future star who was able to exercise his PO and make the move west to the premiers. If him and Mclean fire and the seasoned players do their job the 5 peat is on.

No 5 -

Roosters - They'll continue to improve and Walker will return soon. Very impressive considering the squad and players who left in 2024.

No 6 - Warriors - Certainly a finals side. But probably not a huge threat come finals. Defense just isn't there.

No 7 - Sharks - Built like BAs 2019-2022 Eels. Making up numbers and barring a huge injury crisis elswhere id guess maybe can win one game in finals but most likely get bowled out in week 2 in embarrassing fashion.

No 8 - Cowboys- Great attack but defense isn't good enough. Can play finals

No 9 - Manly - As above. The Turbo and Jake duo is 2 million of dead cap space. Time to move on.

No 10 - Broncos- They have the squad to challenge Storm. I wouldn't rule them out yet but they need to start to get it together.

No 11 - Dragons - Could be sitting top 4 had it not been for some field goals. Another side who is a red got chance of playing finals if don't get to any injuries.

No 12 - Rabbits - As players return they'll go on a few mini runs. Finals wouldn't suprise but there are better sides.

No 13 - Eels - Ryles has them heading in the right direction. Operating with a squad min 1 mill under cap I am liking what I see. I'd suggest had it not been for Moses,Simmonson and Lomax injuries along with being so far under cap they be sitting about 8th in the PRs. The defense is getting better every week.

No 14 - Dolphins - Hot and cold

NEW COACHES NEEDED BELOW

No 15 - Tigers - Expected more.

No 16 - Titans - Should be going better

No 17 - Knights- Appauling side.

Fox League should have you on the panel of NRL360 i reckon you have more of an idea of what's going on in the game then Braith & Tallis.

Spot on with most of this.

I reckon Brisbane should be below the Rabbits they are a rabble atm. And am not sure if Madge can turn them around looks like he has already burnt his bridges with some players its hard to get back once you lost the dressing room.

Good thread, nice work. Agree with most except the Dragons. Don’t think they have It and bound to cop some injuries at some point with some of the older boys. Surprised they have won as many as they have. I’d have them down 13th/14th.

How are we looking for a title compared to where we were 2-3 years ago?

Name all sides you beleive will worry Storm or Dogs more in finals?
99% of coaches would rather play Warriors,Roosters,Sharks or Cowboys then Clearys boys
They have to make the finals first. They are horribly inconsistent at the moment. Maybe we helped them turn a corner...

The finals are at the end of the year, is this not about current power rankings ? You're moving the goal posts there a bit.

In any case they are your power rankings, so its subjective and not all will agree but its a good topic of discussion.

Yeah, good discussion. Can't argue about most rough placements in the rankings or comments.

But I'd have Panthers around 8th. I think they're on the up and will make the finals. But they've taken a long time to gel this season without the Fish and the Cher.

Would you honestly put money against it?

They were outstanding against us on the weekend. Completed 90+% and finished stronger despite all the Origin backups. Their Origin period will only make them better.

Also, they won 4 straight and have the same core. A few close losses, but their F/A is actually within the standard deviation of 6th.

Considering their horrid start, 4th seems about right

I’d have them at 4th if they play at the same level for another 2 or 3 rounds.

They were plop before their win against us. Don’t think you should be able to jump the majority of teams after one good game.

The AI bots are penauts.

AI technology wouldn't have the team that was last, last week and beating the second last team and on that basis catapoulting them to 4th.

Further and more impoprtantly, AI is not a bot.

Or you could just admit that you like the Panfers.
