1. Storm - Another fairly solid effort against the Cows. In second gear at the moment and the team to beat.

2. Bulldogs - Very professional performance against Parra. Will the Galvin signing upset team chemistry? The NRL360 crowd are hoping like hell, but I don't think it will.

3. Canberra - Belted Bennett's Bunnies. Sticky has built a great young, skillful side who will be a force for some time.

4. Warriors - Big win over the Sharks. Have been very solid after a dreadful performance in Round 1 in Vegas.

5. Dolphins - Have won three of their last 4. Dominant display against the Dragons.

6. Panthers - Starting to turn the corner. Defence has improved and the results are coming. Don't be surprised if the wins come in a bunch and they continue to climb the power rankings.

7. Roosters - Have been up and down but at their best they still have plenty to offer.

8. Broncos - Disposed of a very ordinary Titans team but have been below where most people thought they'd be at the start of the season.

9. Sharks - Struggle against better teams and were woeful against the Warriors. Somehow seem to hang around the Top 4 like a dangleberry that no amount of toilet paper will remove.

10. Cowboys - About as consistent as Avenger's opinion on Brad Arthur. Up one week, down the next.

11. Manly - Knights were improved last week but Manly didn't offer much. Even with Turbo in the side they are struggling. Not the player he was. Made of paper mache.

12. Rabbitohs - Raiders ran over the top of them in a very lacklustre display. Bennett left the post match presser to Ben "Chuckles" Hornby. Smart move.

13. Eels - F**k me, I think I'm seeing some shape and structures in attack! Effort and intensity has been much improved over the last 6 weeks. Look good in patches but still play dumb at times. The Dogs game showed we still have a way to go.

14. Tigers - Tried their rings off against the Panthers. Luai made a few uncharacteristic errors that hurt them. Like the Eels, I cant fault their effort right now.

15. Dragons - Very concerning signs in the Dolphins game. Paper thin defence. I wonder if Flanno still has Dank's number?

16. Knights - Good win against Manly but have been pretty shithouse all year.

17. Titans - Have played about 11 mins of decent football all year. Don't know how Des still has such a good head of hair.

Only a complete idiot would use BOLD front in a POWER RANKINGS table.
