Twal has a contract and Fainu doesn't. It's that simple. There are 30 spots and they are all taken. I reckon they'll be some movements prior to the season starting and Fainu will get a top 30 spot.
But Fainu is not a priority.. Movement or lack of it may mean he misses out or worse he is picked up by another team.

Sheens had the advantage of people believing he COULD coach. Everyone in the rugby league world knows Benji is out of his depth, including the man himself.
“Including the man himself”. Where did you hear that? or what are you writing a novel?

He is already on a train and trial contract. I reckon we'll move some players on prior to the season starting and he will get a contract. So I don't think this is a big issue.

I rate him as well but remember he came from nowhere and he hasn't played many games. The club was better off signing May over Sione.

Tomorrow never comes. I rate Sionne as more important than any of the old crew (apart from his brother) for finals contention. He played enough games even for me to see that he’s needed for the team to go to the next level..Hunt would prob have signed for $500 instead of $650..They could have juggled it better to secure him. Train and trial for him is a joke and worse an insult

I rate him as well. I don't think it's money mate. I think it's simply having a spot available and they will make it happen.

Benjis got what all the great coaches have ..Empathy. He was born with it. But now finally has that hard edge and players that are probably willing to spit blood for him..He has the knowledge he just has to pull it all together now.. Bateman may even come back to the fold now he knows his antics arnt going to work.

Question: why is Twal in the top 30 and not fainu? I’m not a forwards expert but those two Faunus have the same skill set… power balance etc etc ..Big mistake if we lose him which could still happen
Alex signed an extension in 2023 until 2027.
Nothing much you can do about that.
Alex was actually solid for the mins he played this year.
In a better pack he may step up even more.
He's got an offload in him and he's strong as. At some stage I read that his tackle efficientcy was 100%.
Also we can't let go of Alex....."he's our try scoring freak" :)

Agree. Richo hinted that's the case.
Train and trial contracts are now worth $1200 per week but after we win our 20th game next year he will pick up after tasty $60,000 in bonuses.
I reckon both Big Red and Sione's contracts will be settled by Christmas ..damn, I should have put that in predictions.

I hope so. I rate both of them.
I met and talked with big red at a meet and greet and man he was a humble fella. I'm very tall, 198cm and I looked him straight in the eye, no looking down :) He's a a lump of a lad.
