Good luck on Saturday and to everyone taking the trip to Mudgee drive safe.
I hope @callmack1 makes a return soon.
It doesn't matter who the Bunnies name in their jerseys or who they have out, I know they'll have a crack at a long time rival.
From an opposition supporter I have my fingers crossed that there will be no serious injuries coming from this game.

Good post maybe cookie will show mamouzelos the magician how to play the game lol..cookie will be ur shining light mamouzelos is a dud the same as ilias is today lol..

Rabbitohs Updated Squad for Charity Shield vs Dragons 2025

South Sydney Rabbitohs
Fri 21 Feb 2025, 03:00 PM
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their updated squad for their pre-season Charity Shield clash against the Dragons this Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm AEDT at Glen Willow Stadium, Mudgee.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ updated NRL squad is:

15- Jye Gray
20- Fletcher Myers
2- Isaiah Tass (c)
4- Jack Wighton
5- Tyrone Munro
6- Jayden Sullivan
7- Lewis Dodd
8- Sean Keppie
9- Peter Mamouzelos
10- Davvy Moale
11- Keaon Koloamatangi
16- Thomas Fletcher
12- Tallis Duncan
Interchange:
13- Lachlan Hubner
14- Jamie Humphreys
17- Liam Le Blanc
18- Salesi Ataata
19- Ashton Ward
22- Luke Webley
23- Talanoa Penitani
25- Bayleigh Bentley-Hape

Interesting positional changes. First thoughts are, after losing Cameron Murray long term, the experiment to see if we could use Duncan at edge to start alongside Murray is now scrapped and Wayne has reverted to switching Duncan to his best position of lock with Fletcher now back in the mix for a starting edge spot for round 1. Arrow will also be in the mix providing he is declared fit but could also start at prop.

Meanwhile, Tass has been shifted to right centre and Myers to wing when it appeared Tass was shaping as our round 1 wingman while AJ remains out. I wonder if they'll share the spot - I expected they'd both be playing off against each other for that spot but now Wayne has decided to shift Myers there and Tass back to centre I guess based on training assessments? Penitani and Bentlley-Hape (BBH) both added to the squad will also be a shout for that wing spot but at the minute, it looks like Myers has his nose in front? The key will be who defends best out there rather than who can do much in attack I'd say.

Really looking forward to getting a 2nd look at Ataata. Or "Ata-boy Ata" as I've started calling him after he scored a good try from close range last weekend. :) He looks solid and could be pushing for selection.

Cheers bud and good luck to you and your side too - no injuries is the first wish for both sides and then, may it be a good game and great prep for the season to come.

“I wish Cody was playing. I wanted to take his head off,” Ilias said. “I’ve got a good relationship with all those boys, but they’ll probably want to take my head off."

LOL. Don't worry Lachy, they'll give it back at the end of the game. :D

Ilias is so full of himself he even believes that he is a top first grade half back oh my well after stmerge sack him then I reckon he will go to the tigpies and again he will be eventually sacked again.even after being sacked by 3 clubs he would still think he is a top first grade half back those dreamer pills sure must work for him doesn't he get it that he is a dud/nsw cup half back at best..I cant wait for all the stmerge fans when the penny drops that they signed a dud..

Don't think Host is injured from any reports. So, it's interesting to see no sign of him at all in either of the trials.

Just quietly.
