Humphreys makes a statement at halfback while Dodd is in the bin. Hello! Mamo has shown good width with his passes from dh 2nd half which is all he needs to do. This is much better boys!

Here we go! Mamo puts Gray into space with a brilliant ball! Then he almost scores himself - great stuff from Mamo! Humphreys goes over to score with great footwork and guile!

HELLO!!! There is a football team here people! Get excited!

Jacky Wighton's defence has been very disappointing today. He will be better for the run but his timing and positioning has been off back out in the centres to start the year.

Well, there's still plenty to work on but with so many topline players yet to come back into this side, there's plenty of hope for the season ahead once we do get most of the boys on the field. If we get most of the boys back on the field at the same time.

Humphreys is my half now and Cody will hopefully be fit for round 1. Dodd may have to find his feet in Cup if he is to prove himself but he still looks well off the pace.

Mamo did much better in the 2nd half but now has jarred his knee. We can't afford for him to go down otherwise what does Wayne do there?

I think Le Blanc is on track to get a spot in the side too. Moale did well.

Lots of bad but still enough good to balance it out. We were far from our best team while Dragons fielded close to their best 17. The fact we didn't drop our heads and we actually fought back to make it somewhat of a contest is very, very pleasing. Totally agree with speedster in regards to Humphreys and Dodd. Plenty of work to do but I trust Wayne to pull the right reins.
