Should be a very physical game.

Hoping the Sharks pick 3 props and Talakai on the bench to maintain the rage.

Sharks to kick off their season with a win.

Penrith have caught Roosters-itis in previous seasons and tend to start slow in round 1.

Edwards and Cleary both returning from shoulder surgery and lack of trials for the team. Wouldn't expect a lot from the Panthers attack.

Sharks are good value here.

Aside from rounds without origin players that’s the weakest side Penrith have put out since Ivan returned to the club…and it’s still a top 8 side. When they get back to full strength they’ll definitely be thereabouts.

Just shows how much the cap has put the pinch on them, which is confusing because we keep hearing that players will take pay cuts to join a good side.

Unlike Melbourne and Easts we play by the cap

Luke Garner in the 4 has removed all the aura that Penrith possess. I’m having Kyle Lovett flashbacks.

Never forget Jason Taylor playing that goober in the centres after an injury and getting absolutely schooled by Dean Whare. I know injuries cause you to play someone out of position but we had a perfectly good Chris Lawrence in the back row that day.
