So we’ve got 2 coaches (actually 1 head and 1 assistant) against their former teams. Seibold v T Baz. Hoping to be career coaches. Masters of the power point presentation. Just run hard and tackle hard boys. What could go wrong? Well plenty actually.

Manly’s defence up the middle was diabolical last week. I’ve never seen middles falling for dummies before last week. Chief offender keeps his place while Navale who gets drip fed minutes and did well last week gets dumped to reserves. Go figure.

The Broncs were apparently whinging that they weren’t allowed to have a pre game barbecue. I can understand that. There’s nothing like a Bunnings sausage sizzle to get the blood pumping and to get you ready to rip and tear.

Actually there used to be a guy outside Brookvale oval who used to do sausage sizzles. Let’s just say he was shut down for unhygienic practices back in the day. Time to repackage Tales from Tiger Town as Tales from the Bronco barn. Constant f bombs from the coach interspersed with losing streaks. Actually a career coach is a great option. CEO type money with virtually no qualifications. And assistant coach money is around 300k depending on the club. Beats stacking shelves at Woolies or holding a stop/go sign.

On last week’s performance and on paper there is no way I could tip Manly. But the previous week their defence was exceptional , so I’m going Manly by 8. Hoppa MOTM.
