Raiders 13+

I don't see the Souths pack holding up for long. Even if they withstand the opening barrage our bench rotation led by Papa has been crushing it.

We matched up poorly against the Raiders even when we were Top 4 and they were not... their style usually just runs roughshed over us.

Big day for their club, last game before finally getting a bye... Ricky will have them pumped. Could be anything.

On a positive note, seeing the lineup:

1- Latrell Mitchell
2- Alex Johnston
3- Jack Wighton
4- Campbell Graham

This is the first time we've been able to name these 4 players together, in the 37th game since Wighton's arrival. At least one of them has been injured for every other match.

All 4 have played for Australia. Looks good on paper. It's the Raiders' underrated backline that have been tearing it up this season though.

Latrell is in some great form- definitely capable of grabbing hold of a game if Raiders struggle to score or the Souffs forwards manage to gain parity.

Jack will be up for it. So that could be anything from his best game of the year to 10 in the bin. Probably both because Jack.

As a back 5 the Raiders have been in better form for the season. Seb Kris is in near career best. Tamale playing like the love child of Meninga and Rapana. Timoko is an ox in human form. Weekes and Savage probably leave late career Johnson eating dust for speed.

On the flipside it's the defence of our centres which has been wobbly and Jack and Trell might do Crichton type things to them.

I think Raiders get the win here. Far better team and form... won't be taking their eye off the win like other teams have when heading into a bye.

Sometimes teams overdue for a bye run out of puff. All the milestones might also be a distraction. That's my wishful thinking post for this game.

Unless you guys allow distractions, expectations and complacency to creep into the performance, you will be too strong at home.
