It was a rubbish match. Roosters defence was good, but its attack was poor.

Knights attack? It was grade A rubbish. 38 or more tackles inside your opposition's 20 metre line and they could only manufacture one try?! It will tyake mo5re thab Dylan Brown to make Newcastle's attack to improve.

What about Dylan Brown, Fletcher Sharpe and Bradman Best (also Ponga but he is useless and should head to rugby).

Not sure you could say our attack was shit as we were never actually in attack lol

Newcastle should be embarrassed with the amount of posession they had

I don't see how on that last play of the game the strip from Hastings was called forward. It definitively went back, but even the video review ref said it went straight down, it didn't it went back but if it went straight down it is not a knock on.

I've watched the replay now on fox twice. Hastings punches it and it 100% propels backwards then hit Teddy's thigh which is in front of where he was holding the ball and whatever happens from there who cares. Point is it's not debatable. It went backwards from the stripper.
It doesn't matter (the Knights would not have done anything), except that it was a video review, the dude looking at the replay has to have had his eyes crossed.

So he strips it backwards in to teddy who is in front of him.

Cool story

Oh you're actually thinking you can swipe at the ball and have it land in front of your feet and it be a knock back?

That's your logic?

Talk about taking the piss
The Hastings one was a knock on but players can reach out and touch a ball that goes back and lands in front of them.

That was an awful game to sit through live (wife is a roosters fan so had to go). Both teams would have been lapped by a semi-decent team.

Seeing the gap between the sides on paper though I’m not too disappointed. Genuinely expected we’d be flogged with so many rookies. I expected our attack would be shit as it is anyway and then losing our best attacking players and replacing them with the slowest spine in history was never going to result in great play, but I hadn’t expected the Roosters to be just as shit.

Im ok with the Roosters final try. Pretty gutting but it’s legal within the new interpretation (although a dumb rule).
