Storm were trash, as they’ve been more than half the season, but still people will be surprised when they next lose to an average team that decides to show up for 80.

It’s copium, but I’m hoping we are simply timing our run for a change. Rather than remaining at a consistent level throughout the season like we tend to do.

The Storm have been like that for much of the season. They only seem to play in patches. They make a lot of unforced errors, or make low percentage plays which result in changes of possession. Against a more settled and talented team than that Souths one tonight (Souths had a lot out injured), the Storm would have been toasted.

Yep, that was the worst one. There was nothing wrong with a draw. We aren’t simpleton seppos.

Draws are great. Sometimes you might miss out on a Top 8 position by 1 point. Other times it is the reason you finish above another team.

I don't mind GP. Refs put away the whistle and theoretically it rewards the team who work hardest for that ten to thirty meters for a fg shot, the team that under maximum fatigue still get off their line quickest, don't miss a tackle, tackle and run hardest, don't make an error and then execute the fg play. It's telling teams often fall apart and it turns into a shit show.
