Souths edge defence is really bad, which is expected with no many backs out. If saints complete in the second half they should go on with it pretty well

My HT thoughts

This is the hottest non-trial match I have ever been to... so still and humid as well as hot. Both sides zapped.

We are a typical Bennett side, try hard, compete on everything... but we are lacking in talent out there with our injuries

Whoever is fitter will win

Yes but neither of these teams are top 8 sides and at this stage of the season a win is a win

Nobody's using it as an excuse. Just an observation as to the way the half finished.
