So sounds like you need a 2nd bus. Not a new stadium.
Get on the bus guys it’s pretty packed
Everyone is a Raiders fan. Who doesn't love wacky idiots?

They're less likeable now Simple Jack and LeiPana are all gone and they no longer share one brain among 17 blokes, though.
Poor old badandmean thinks I’m a Newcastle fan for some reason today because I called out a shit call the Knights got … lolz

Maybe I'm being paranoid but f**k Warren Smith and Andrew Voss are salty about us leading the comp this year. The sheer elation in smiths voice when the Knights scored and then just goes on autopilot when we started running away with it. Same thing happened in the Roosters game, Vossy couldn't contain his excitement every time the Roosters scored. Acted surprised whenever we scored.
Yeah definitely paranoid

Tigers fans give it to the officials all the time mate. Usually also with good reason.

We give it to the team every week, that goes without saying, but the Knights being shit doesn’t mean the officials shouldn’t cop a spray for f**kery. 12 of the Raiders points should never have happened and it happened when the game was even. Would have the Knights won if those calls didn’t change the momentum? Unlikely, but also it never should have happened. It had zero impact on our season but it’s making the game in general hard to watch. What’s even the point of having a bunker?
Sure we get bad calls. I have not seen us play a game this year where the refs have genuinely cost us a win though.

Your own coach said he completely agreed with the Starling call
I think most fans would look at that incident and say rewarding Crossland would be silly
He wasnt obstructed because the lazy merkin didnt move. Just stood there like a f**king joker.

Video ref was spot on, he made the decision not to defend and thus was not obstructed. That's on him.

AOB doesn’t have a good track record of making good judgements in pressers.

Well he's spot on here
All Crossland has to do to get that call is move his f**king feet... one damn step toward Starlo and he gets the call

How is Crossland obstructed when the Raiders player didnt touch him?
How is he denied the opportunity to push into space if he never tries to push into space?

It was a lazy, cynical play that deserved to be punished.

Nah. Vossy is a big Raiders fan. He does go over the top with commentating and wanting close games/finishes.

So some are saying if Crossland made an attempt he would have got the call. That just shows you can con the officials and get a try disallowed.

The aggrieved teams (ie, the lower ranked ones) just want to get reffed the same way as the higher ranked sides. I've seen plenty of occasions a higher ranked team going nowhere in the attacking zone or drop the ball and lo and behold the lower ranked teams gets called for a ruck infringement or being offside so a 6 again goes against them which chews up more energy and they get scored against.

Crossland was never going to be able to make a tackle as the Raiders player was literally standing between the defenders. If he takes a dive it’s 100% ruled an obstruction and that’s the issue I have.

He was never making the tackle regardless
And certainly he isnt going to make a tackle if he doesnt... y'know... try to make a tackle.

Play footy and he gets the call. He stopped playing footy, got lazy and got punished. Rightly so.
VR rightly called it and your coach was emphatic that it was the correct call and that was entirely on Crossland.

Yep 100%. It just encourages diving because even though the Raiders player was in the wrong position they are apparently only going to get punished for it if the effected player dives.

PVL and co have placed the game on a great footing commercially and should be applauded. But they really need to fix up the officiating, the salary cap, players signing for other clubs but not even starting pre-season training for the last year with their current club. Unfortunately these are the hard bits as they will get resistance from the higher ranked teams as it doesn't suit them.

They seem to want penalties for handed to them for just existing. I wouldn't even say for turning up because Cross land sure the eff didn't bother to turn up on that play.
