They've gone from having a backrower defending at halfback to Sam Walker.

The entire line knows he's there and adjust their positioning for it.

Plus Spencer is the worst ruck defender in the league.
Spencer was a big signing mistake by the Roosters. Same with Cheese who was only really a makeshift dummy half at the Storm to give Grant a rest. Watson is really only a fill in at hooker too. Robson will fill the void .Walker probably needs some leeway to get his confidence back after his ACL repair. Crichton has just been dialling it in.

You guys are missing Warbrick badly. The fill-ins are easy targets on the other wing, especially for someone like Tupou.

Reading about it now, it's not looking great that he'll back this season either. Long time to be out with concussion symptoms.
His estimated return has understandably been all over the shop but sounds like concussion symptoms have subsided and he'll be back training with the squad next week. Far from match conditioned though so wouldn't surprise me if we put a line through him for 2025.

When did Warbrick get concussed ? Was it one of those awful ones when a player doesnt move for 30 seconds ?

I agree, I'm not defending the bunker here. Go back to the try in the thread, I literally question if the bunker can use that angle. I merely posted because I didn't know at the time and found out they can't use it after the game, thought others may have also questioned it and wanted an answer.
Didn't think you were @MRN.
I'm just so pissed off with the bunker and how it's been envisaged and executed. (Executed - now there's an idea. Can we start with Ashley Klown?) I get that refs and touchies make mistakes - they see the event once in real time and not necessarily from the best angle with a clear, unobstructed view.
But the bunker has 20 different camera angles and can watch it as many times as they want from whatever angle they want at any speed they want. There should be no mistakes - and only the occasional case where they say "we just can't tell for sure". I'd even live with the old benefit of the doubt. But instead we get howlers aplenty - I struggle to a recall a weekend this season where there hasn't been at least one.

H

He was offside for sure.

Melbourne got two very fortuitous 6 agains on 4th tackle in the lead up to two of their tries. I have no idea what they were for.

Swings and roundabouts ay.
They were for the roosters constantly being offside. ;) Surprised you didn't notice.

But again, my point isn't about the refs. It's about the bunker and their much vaunted technology that make absolute howlers every week.

Chookies were looking like dark horses with settled halves

Dropping smith and bringing back Walker has upset their momentum

Since the lions tour started Marky mark hasn’t been interested

Shame they had real potential
