Virtual elimination Final. The loser won't make the 8 and the winner would still need help (particularly Manly).

Until Manly get rid of Seibold, they're not going to win anything of significance.

It’s DCE’s 350th, irregardless of what’s gone on this season, and Father Time hitting him like a cement truck (something that I posted about before the contract shenanigans occurred so was happy he isn’t staying on) I think he’ll stand up one last time, and probably announce his retirement.

I don’t know if any of the above makes sense, I’ve been hit by the gypsy curse, kung flu double whammy.

Dollar Cherry Evans to run out in his 350th through a guard of honour consisting of the Stewart brothers, Anthony Watmough and Jackson Hastings.

Maybe they can pass a hat around the hill at half time to top up his super. No buttons or paper clips allowed. Legal tender only.

Phins will ruin DCE's 350th and end The Most Hated's glimmer of a finals berth. Brooks to put in a stinker. Phins 40-16, with Kerr grabbing a meat pie.

I think it’s obvious that DCE is under instructions not to announce his deal with the Roosters before the Roosters are eliminated from the premiership race. If he did it would cause serious disruption to the Roosters’ playing group. Nick is a man of his word and whatever agreement is in place will be honoured.

The curve ball is Cronk on Fox the other day throwing DCE under a truck by highlighting his reluctance for physical contact against the Tigers. Given Cronk’s connection to the Roosters this could be construed as a nudge to DCE to pull the pin on his career at the end of this year.

I suspect he’ll retire this year but still get his $500K (that amount was reported by Anasta yesterday on NRL 360) via a job in some capacity at the Roosters.

Savala looks like a gun anyway. And seems to have a good sense of humour. When Fittler remarked to Savala after the match in the sheds that he was a lot taller than he thought, Savala replied that he was the same height as Galvin.
