Steam coming out of Stick’s ears but did well to keep it together. With regards to the refereeing he said that “Something’s changed this week and I know how”. He told a reporter “he knew what it was “but wouldn’t elaborate.

When Grant Atkins is on a mission it really is a sight to behold. The Raiders done everything to accommodate it as well. It's very sapping on your energy spending pretty much the entire 1st half in your 20, especially against a side like Manly.. My favourite #peakraiders moment was around the 20th minute with the short dropout to Saab, followed by the pièce de résistance in Horsborough's marker effort.

The worst part of it was listening to studdercronk's captain obviousisms. The only redeeming quality was the Manly cheerleaders. No wonder Brookie is always packed now. Also Manly are the biggest teasers of LU's most famed thread.

Key turning point was obviously the disallowed try.

I still disagree with the obstruction decision, but even if you were to go with it, why wasn't it a penalty for the late shot on the ball player?

100 times out of 100 that was a penalty last year, often a sin bin as well. Instead Atkins says "we've cleared it".

But Atkins showed his hand early. Marching a team 10 metres on the very first penalty of the game after only 3 minutes - he was never going to give us a fair go.

He hit him 2 frames after he released the ball, that's about 1/15 of a second. Just accept that your team was ill disciplined. This weeks happen for most teams and you just need to move past it.

The something’s changed in the past week comment is interesting. Didn’t the Broncos get dusted up by the Raiders last week? Didn’t Madge last only 1 year as Raiders defensive coach? I’m sure it was purely coincidencental that the refereeing spotlight was on the Raiders against Manly.

Manly were reffed out of it last week.
Raiders reffed out of it this week.

Home crowds that are happy equals return customers.
Hahaha. Manly reffed out of it last week? Did you see those two very questionable tries that the bunker awarded Manly?
