Weren't booing the injury, were booing the fact he jumped through and took out our halfback. EVERY club's fans would have done the same.
Add to that that Gee came up with a bullshit penalty against Melbourne.

The fact that the stupid merkin knocked himself out was just a bonus.
You’re reinventing it all

How much did you enjoy NAS hit on Henry?

Absolutely perfectly timed jsw breaker.

Maybe Meaney will have a new boat tomorrow.

Brilliant game of footy but...

Melbourne were marginally better...if at all? 5 tries to each team. The Storm were piss poor and it came from one of the apparent 'contenders' in this NRL competition. Lousy year of footy ahead? Who knows.

Looking forward to Manly v Raiders on Sunday to see if some real teams start showing up.

They booed him walking off like the classless low life scum they are. They cheer that sack of shit NAS who is a walking hazard to both his team and the opposition. Storm have had some of the dirtiest grubby merkins to ever play the game

Cleary did nothing wrong and was booed for being knocked out. Hughes took Cleary out. Most clubs fans applaud a player who has been injured and walks off . Not the scum though. They only cheer when their player nearly kills someone.

Craig might want to think before picking NAS again though. He was easily the worst Storm player and he sidelined a teammate.

Mistakes but they kept fighting.

Yes but they don't need to fight without mistakes.

That is the issue.

perfect example. We are down 6-0

Finally put a couple of good sets together. Have Storm at their 30 on the 5th tackle, Moses gives a penalty.

Storm score.

A few sets later we again get the ball put a good spot. Tago gives away a penalty. Piggy back they get the 2.

It has gone from 6-0 down. With us starting to win possession and can grind away like we have done over the past 5 years

To being 14-0 and needing to move away from what works.

That is the 2025 version atm

Harsh.

They can fix their errors, but I thought the resilience and resolve from a bit of a Band-Aid side against a star studded purple behemoth ( at home) was really impressive.

Hughes took Cleary out? Jesus is that you Ennis? It was a collision where neither player was at fault.

Raiders, Dogs and Sharks have looked pretty good early on so it may be a good thing if Penrith and Melbourne come back to the pack a bit. Some of the other team’s currently in and around the 8…remains to be seen.

Matty Johns is a complete shitweasle. He's like that kid at school who only played in the footy team because his brother was a star, and used to get off on bullying the crippled (differently able?) kid who couldn't fight back. Now he gets paid a million a year to do it on telly with two ex footballers who are barely eloquent enough to order coffee.
Best analysis I've seen yet of the fake brother of the GOAT.
