Me too. He was thinking with his chin.I know mate. I was just impressed that a Penrith fan was acknowledging that the result was down to the attitude of the teams.

He was held anyway - ball-carrying arm touching the ground with opposition hands on him. That's held. No idea how the video ref passed that. Never should have got to the grounding.

He gets put on every f**king Penrith game, that's why. He's insufferable. I'd rather listen to Brandy, Phil Gould and @Chins commentate an undefeated Penrith season. Why does Ennis always have such a raging hard on for Penrith?
What a classic monday morning quarterback. Look at the tipping. 94% tipped Penrith! Nobody saw that first half of football coming.Hate to break it to you.
You beat the Penrith NSW Cup side.
Yes that’s because they were playing Souffs. What a classic monday morning quarterback. Look at the tipping. 94% tipped Penrith! Nobody saw that first half of football coming.
The point is beating Panthers doesn’t mean shit anymore. They’re not the best team or the team to beat.
Each week beating them gets devalued. Roosters beat them as $11 outsiders. Storm beat them. Now Souths have. They’re conceding twice as many points as they used to. When Cowboys beat them next week it will make things a little less impressive.
Or maybe Panthers beat Cowboys. With how shit they are it doesn’t mean much to beat them. Says a hell of a lot if they lose though. Panthers just dont seem to put any effort in until required to when its already too late. They look sick of the week in week out grind of footy.
As i said. Beating Panthers is being devalued each week.Yes it does. It's round 4 and they're the reigning 4-peat premiers in the salary cap era. It means shit. Especially for a much weakened side like Souths coming off a disastrous 2nd-last finish last year.
Penrith are still a top 4 side in my view as things stand while it is still March. They've had a shit start to the season which has seen an uncharacteristic drop in their usually miserally defence. They can fix that up and still be up there when the whips are cracking at the business end of the season.
As a Souths supporter, I most defintiely feel that beating Penrith, even if they are in a slump to start the year, means shit. Big shit. Enormous shit. Definitely our best win for ages. I'm basking in it. (The win, not the shit. just to be clear).
Sure, if things change, then they change. I clearly referred to the point in time as being relevant to my argument - meaning it was round 4, still March and "as things stand" to quote myself back then.As i said. Beating Panthers is being devalued each week.
5 losses in a row now and its mostly to shit and/or depleted sides.
Roosters
Storm
Souths
Cowboys
Dolphins
Panthers aren’t a top 4 side. They won’t even be a top 8 side at this rate. Bottom 4 seems probable
Roosters will grab their second win of the season next week and I bet they don’t think it’s as amazing as their first win. Because the more the season plays out, the more we see just how bad the 2025 Panthers are. Cap finally took enough good players that the likes of Tago and Leota can’t just cruise by with one good game every month.

BM is moving from Leichhardt to Penrith. Naturally, that means the Panthers will be replacing the Tigers as the team I go for when Souths are not playing.
If Souths aren't a contender in 2025 I look forward to being a part of the Panthers bandwagon as they go for the 5peat.
