Manly possibly missing Turbo, Melbourne coming off a loss and their asses still raw from the latest drying from coach psycho, can only see this going one way, even at Brookvale.

I'd like to see the Storm treat Manly like Parramatta here, although I reckon the Dragons took a lot out of them last week.

Storm 30-10.

Plenty talking up the biff and rivalry in the chooks/Bunnies thread but this one is just as good. Should be another good game ruined by sinbins.

Storm can't be that shit 2 weeks in a row.

They'll be shit most games without Hughes and their only forward who runs hard.

I know Manly are missing Turbo + a few middles, but I'll take Manly with a start at Brookvale every single time.

If Hughes plays as expected his kicking game will strangle Manly with Saab and Faulalo struggling big time with kick return metres. Add Jake’s 3 metre hit ups to the absence of Paseka and Turbo’s 5th tackle hit up and the Eagles will be struggling to get more than 25 m per set. DCE will have plenty of chances at 40/20s and should nail at least one. If he connects well enough he could kick one to Belmore Sports Ground.

Warbrick v Faulolo in the air is a mismatch as well. Speaking of Warbrick , he cleaned up Damien Cook v the Dragons last week at the 30:40 mark in the 2nd half of the Fox coverage with a shoulder to the head followed up by an elbow to the throat. Cook stayed down but not even a penalty. Not even on report. Shouldn’t even be playing this week. Does the match review committee actually watch this stuff?

BTW where’s Tommy Talau? Is there’s ever a match when Manly needs him it’s this one. Is he injured or out of favour for some reason?

If Hughes plays it’s the Storm (or as Blocker would say”the Melbourne Storm”) by 28. If Hughes doesn’t play the Storm by 4.

The wild card as usual is the NRL (No Real Real Logic). Maybe they will penalise players for not having their socks pulled up, not tucking their shirts in, or not addressing the referee as “almighty powerful one”. But don’t worry, this crap happens every year until we get to the grand final and the whistle gets put away and we see a free flowing game. The way EVERY game should be refereed ALL SEASON.

Looking forward to sleeping through this game, seeing that we’ve been tanked, and then getting involved in the chaotic festivities of the later game match thread.

Looking doubtful for Manly on this one. They'll be beaten by a team beaten by the Dragons who lost to the Eels.

Ouch.
