Cowboys very very lucky they got us with 473 injuries because they are a poor team
Yeah they’re a crappy side, a few individual performances have saved them. Robson remembered he’s an Origin hooker today, Deardon came up with a few massive plays, Nanai seems to have got the message after being dropped and Purdue is red hot

cowboys were half terrible. Souffs were fully terrible. They are crap and the only difference is LM was told no forward passes today

Jye Gray showed what a quality player he is. Knows when to chime in from fullback in attack, and has looked safe in defence and when fielding kicks. Makes Latrell look poor by comparison as a fullback.

Regardless of what position he plays, I feel Latrell needs to run the ball more. He had 2 runs all game. He is a creative player with a ton of talent, and adevastating ball runner.

I don't know if it's team planning or him, but he seems too content to just sit back. It was very noticeable during the second half that on tackles 1 and 2 when Souths had the ball, Latrell was going to dummy half.

Bad call with the hip drop penalty but Purdue's first try at 10 all was the most embarrassing defence I've seen this year. Keppie was involved with that too, big plodder vibes from him today.

With around 10 to go and 6 down, Mitchell threw a cut out ball to the left winger. Not a huge floater at pace like last week, but they were 5 on 2. It was tight for room, but the long ball made the easy read for the defence. Needed to go through the hands.

Quite possibly the most embarrassing defence I've seen this century!

We now have a resume of multiple impressive victories. We have announced ourselves as a top 4 contender. The Cowboys are shaping up to be also rans this year.

Nothing against them, it just seems pretty clear that it is Souths and the Bulldogs replacing Easts and the Panthers as top 4 and premiership contenders this year.
The forums are not the same when you're absent BM.
