Mitch is a massive in for Eels, I had them in my 8 before the season, Im not saying they'll get near that but I do believe they'll win plenty with him in the team this year.

Convince yourself he's leaving Wests because of poor coaching and coming to Parra for better coaching. I double dare you.
All the talk says he's going to the dogs, a phil gould special. Bred not bought.

I don't want him, but at least he'd be true to his word and going for a better coach.

Let's not kid ourselves. He's going to the Roosters. Politis will brush the sand out of his vagina because of his manager, and sign him for a pie and a coke.

I actually feel more confident in our chances without Galvin. Doueihi’s kicking game, running game and pass selection is a heck of a lot better

and it’ll mean Luai now finally gets to play wider off the ruck which is always a good thing

Moses for them still makes me nervous though.. but he’s been out too long imo to have an immediate impact

I sense that something has galvinized this Wests Tigers team recently and they look set to go on a winning streak... that or revert to the norm and fall in a steaming heap.

Senior players will want to step up and ensure a thumping win here. Tigers by 13+

Agree JR . . .. I'm hoping for a "poked the bear" type reaction.
After being in 5/6 of our games till the end . . . . something I'm still not quite used to . . . I'd be pissed if we didn't come out and pretend all of this is Parra's fault and just steamroll them.
Or, they could celebrate the return of the pointy and petulant one, and trample us.
Nah, we're good.

Shaun Lane has withdrawn while he goes off to consider his future.

I for one hope he never comes back

Tigers by plenty. The Galvin saga has brought their squad together and unified them. Watch them play brilliantly for their coach and to spite Galvin

Eels are specials here. Moses will have a massive game.

Off-field drama might not bother Luai much but curious to see how the rest of the Tigers squad fares today.

Galvin was absolutely awful against the Knights. I actually think his form all year has been below par - which is fair enough, he’s still a teenager.

Those are the things you put up with from a young player you’re trying to develop, but now that there’s no point from a Tigers perspective to do so, I think dumping him was the right move.

Tigers didn’t impress me last week, Newcastle played worse than Parramatta did. Will be genuinely interesting to see which version of each team shows up today.
