If this Manly team took the field and was fully fit I would give them some sort of chance. But it won’t so I don’t. Turbo will probably pull out before the match with “tightness”. Bullemore and Brown were injured last week. Saab , DCE ,Talau and Aloiai are carrying injuries.

Manly fans are still receiving therapy after coach Seibold picked a specialist winger on the bench and their forwards started falling like flies. Maybe he can pick 2 wingers on the bench this week in case 1 disappears down a sinkhole during the match. Opposition right wingers have been having a field day in the last fortnight against Manly. A double to Stonestreet then Sloane. Put down Alamoti for a hat trick.

Manly will need some funky tactics to have any chance. Sending the ball wide at every opportunity. But not getting the Manly fullback to kick on the first like he did a few years back(against Penrith) . That didn’t exactly end well.

The Panthers are getting back into the grind and won’t have any problems here. Will get well ahead and hit cruise control. Panthers by 24.

If it was at Penrith park panthers would be unbackable but they seem to hate CommBank as much as we do.

Turbo big in but manlys whole prop rotation is out. Unless Penrith let this become a touch footy shoot out panthers should be too strong.

PENRITH by 14.

There’s no truth to the rumour that Nathan Brown pushed off from the Brookvale oval fence at 6am this morning on his way to Commbank Stadium to take the first hit up of the match.

Smith and Leota start, Henry and Papali’i off the bench appears to work well, I don’t know why he wouldn’t run this to be sure. Small sample sizes but Smith off the bench hasn’t looked so good. It is weird front row rotation experimentation when we kind of can’t afford it.

He seems to really want to not start Smith for whatever reason? Because Smith can ball play if Yeo gets injured he wants a fresh Smith to replace him at lock? I dunno. He’s started Papali’i and it didn’t go so well so now he’s trying Henry?

Call me un-Australian if you want, but I really don’t think we should have these ceremonies for games not played on ANZAC Day itself.
