With the dire state of refereeing in the NRL it’s time to consider AI . How about the robot from Lost In Space . “”Danger ! Danger ! Danger ! The Broncos are going nowhere and it’s the 5th tackle. Piggy back penalty incoming. “. Or “Warning ! Warning! Warning! Nathan, your chin’s been inside the 10 all game. If you don’t get back inside we’ll make you watch that atrocious Rexona commercial. You know, the one that looks like it’s been put together by a bunch of work experience kids with the “special “effects provided by a Commodore 64 computer. “

Just how many times will Vossy mention that the 4 time reigning premiers are last on the table? I’ll take a stab and say 149. And everyone’s waiting for the iconic “straight down the hey diddle diddle”

The Panthers need to get going as they’ll be losing Cleary, Yeoh and Martin to SOO. Impossible to predict which Broncos team will show up.

Predictions :

Albanese 55% to Dutton 45%

The Broncos by 10

Brisbane in tatters. Dutton gone.

Only one thing in the world could make this Sunday better for Australia: Penrith.

Another year, another "away" game for the Broncos at Magic Round.
Because 'home' teams get paid $300,000 for playing a home game at Magic Round. The NRL don't want to give the Broncos a $300,000 pay day for simply playing at home. Same reason the Dolphins have been the away team every year. And to not pay them if they were the home team just because it is their home ground while other teams get paid would reek of double standards. It'll be the same if it ever moves elsewhere. Whosever home ground it will be, that team will play as the away team as long as their is a financial incentive for 'Home' teams.

I just can’t understand how Peter Dutton didn’t resonate with voters. I mean an ex cop who has embraced his baldness(no wigs, hair transplants or bandanas here),and has accumulated (according to some reports) a fortune of 300 million. He’s obviously a financial wizard who took a cut lunch to work every day instead of buying a smashed avo sandwich.

Peter Dutton doesn't understand State of Origin.

Smug. Self-aggrandizing. Disliked by everyone except a small number of deluded fans. Evil. Hideously disfigured.

Dutton is basically Penrith, except he's a loser.

That's a pretty shit reason as far as I'm concerned. It's bad enough the Broncos get extra home games when they're the away team vs the Dolphins or Titans at Suncorp.

And if they did it you would piss and moan about Broncos and Dolphins getting a pay day.
And where else are they meant to play the Dolphins? It's their home stadium too. You want to play it at Kayo? You'd limit that game to 11,000. Thank god you and people like you don't run the game.
And a quick look at the history between Broncos and Titans shows they only ever played the Broncos once at Suncorp as the home team, 2007, but please go on.

Why?

We've also got 30k+ ticketed members (which doesn't include flexi ticketed members, who would elect magic round as their game), so we would essentially lock other fans out.

There have been many seasons over the years where Parra, Dogs, Souths, and Tigers (when playing any of the former) have all played out of Homebush for their 2 games per year, and it's not been an issue then.

We don't play the Titans at Suncorp - we play the away game at CBUS in Robina. The away game against Redcliffe is no different to the statement above.

Have we seen more than 11,000 in the stands at one time yet? It's been awful really

Magic round crowds are a different argument to the Brisbane derby crowds.
But yes, you're right, it hasn't looked great with such a patchy crowd. I can't imagine buying that ticket and not watching all the games on offer on my day/s.

Why would I moan about them getting paid? I don't care. An extra home game is worth more than 300k.

Don’t mess this up Panthers, there is nothing more magic than seeing 4 Queensland teams turned over at Suncorp in the same weekend.
