We just had repeat sets on their line and Dodd has done nothing except run cross field and hand off to an unders play or grubber. Then stands back for several tackles and leaves it to others instead of commanding the ball and orchestrating play. Crash play after crash play and we cough the ball up.

Well, we are in with a fortunate try. Dodd dinked an innocuous looking lob to the left, the Dragons winger dropped it in the tackle and we pick it up through Kaho and score.

Ward converts from out wide - it's 6-16.

Like ive said previously he needs to aclimatise, they just interviewed him and he remarked on the heat, look i think he needs to play reggis for half a season, and i think he is carrying a bit of weight, if he trims down a little he will be nippier and fitter
He'll lose plenty of weight by full time in this heat! :D

Dodd gets a try assist after very poor attack on their line yet again. But his grubber into the ingoals are accurate and we score off this one.

18-22.

Can someone clarify what...if any ..links / affiliation the Rabbitohs have with the Blacktown Workers team in the Ron Massey Cup ?
I googled your question and it sent me to this page - https://forums.leagueunlimited.com/threads/2025-rm-cup-sydney-shield.493046/post-16541443

"Blacktown are playing in Massey this season after Manly went their own way. Blacktown have come up with a feeder arrangement with Souths. So I'm guessing players who don't get picked for Souths Cup will be able to drop back and play for Blacktown" -

Thanks and shout out to Sharkie Army Gorilla for the info. I didn't even know this myself!

We all know of the feeder arrangement with Townsville Blackhawks but there's also the Workers side too now. That could/would account for why there are quite a few names in the NSW Cup side that I haven't heard of before, particularly in the front row.

Guys like Tayson Fakaosi who started at prop yesterday as well as guys on the bench like Daniel O'Donnell who came on at hooker pushing Ryan Gray to lock, plus Toesami Junior Toevai & Kaylen Miller.

The Worker's club site is still linked to Manly so gives me no info on their squad.
