It's really the obvious choice having these 2 fellas as captain and a great one to. Both will do a great job and the team will really excel under their guidance. This year will be about getting the structure right and creating their own identity. Next few season's after that will be strengthening positions that need to be strengthened if they cannot within the club. Once it is all working, it will be like a well oiled machine.

If Saints don't cop any big losses like last year, that would be a huge improvement to me. A couple more wins against the bottom sides and they make the 8 on the back of any close losses throughout the year to keep the +/- in the positives.

The biggest change for the squad is that Hunt was never a team player and distanced himself from his team mates on and off the field when things got hard

Gutherson and Cook are experienced, team oriented leaders.

I anticipate our team will play smarter, tougher footy with these guys leading from the front.

Interesting choices, I thought the job would go to a retainee, but sometimes it’s good to get naturally dominant players into these roles.

I’ve just been sniffing around the betting tables today looking for some
value.

You remain unloved, but it seems the price is a lot shorter after last years frightening of the market.

One of the companies is offering $67 for the gf win but a lousy $4.50 for top 8.

My $7 went a long way into last season, 70 minutes in game terms.

You’ve lost arguably your two most important players ( face value) but the market simply isn’t recognising it as a wipe out.

The Tigers ranging 10th-13th is the best market guess, I can live with that, but there’s no value on the odds offered.

I guess there’s not going to be as much fun with the bookies this year. Oh well,no great loss.

Maybe your best bet this year is to bet on who will get the wooden spoon. What is the best odds you can find for Parra or Warriors? Maybe even a Doggies as they were a surprise packet last season but may have been figured out now.
