Does anyone have any mail on Tom E?

Seems to be the forgotten man in our squad. He's not listed in any grade, nor is he listed on our injured list.

Just shows you the mess Flanno inherited. Those expecting overnight success have a rethink you cannot correct 10yrs of incompetence cannot be fixed in a hurry both in players & mentality.
All we need is a good recruitment manager and a good defensive coach. I believe we have the talent but it still needs to be unleashed.

Poss…. that’s all we’ve needed for 15 years but it seems way beyond the management of this club to be able to implement…. Certain people within the club feel too threatened to employ skilled professional people. Flano has tried his best but he is far from a recruitment manager….his efforts over the offseason have been poor when you consider what we really needed were tough, uncompromising middle forwards but all we have jagged are end of career show ponies….

Disheartening, but probably not too far off the mark. The salary cap on it's own is not spreading the talent like it was supposed to - along with the draft.
Salary cap was to stop clubs overspending and going broke. Unfortunately it is now causing an imbalance with the higher rated clubs able to sign players for 'unders' and weaker clubs having to pay 'overs' and bending their salary cap out of shape and taking years to recover if it doesn't work out.

Yes. Remember, Flanno took over from Ricky Stuart at sharks end 2010, and they were doing miserably and it wasn't until 2015 that they got even as high as 6th.

Over that period, the sharks went through an absolutely gobsmacking litany of scandals and player losses. That Flanno took them to a premiership in 2016 is astonishing.

If you want to be reminded of the Sharks' insanity of 2010-2014, it is all in the link below. It was unending series of media and player disasters. Sharks supporters must have sometimes considered reaching for the rope.

Well it’s not going to get much better - believe latu is heading out the door. Few issues with him club doesn’t seem happy about
If this is correct, the club is f**ked. I don't mind Stewart don't get me wrong, but Latu is going to be a much better player in future. Reeks of a local junior getting the jump over an imported junior, the sort of shit we've seen at the club many times before. Will show nothing has changed (if this is in fact true). I want to win for f**ks sake, keep the best players

Isn't Latu and his family the people who hosted a Samoan lunch for the team a little while back, and also moved the family down to Wollongong to live??
When someone says there are issues, I am thinking away from the playing field, it is always a difficult one to comment on.
From what I have seen of him play, he looks to me a future first grader.
Hope it gets sorted out and he stays.
Maybe someone here who is closer to the club can shed some more light on things.
Jeremy Dragon possibly??
