Unfortunately the 11% drop is probably largely due to the Warriors not appealing to the Aus TV market as much, and the lack of competiveness in the games themselves.

I think they would’ve gotten around 4 million in Australia for the four games

Nz ? 250 to 300k
England if they break 250k that would be amazing for them

America will be interesting to see what happened to the 61k from last year

The drop on FTA would be because the sharks and panthers dont have the ratings pull of broncos and to a lesser extent roosters.
And the novelty would have dropped a bit from last year.

It did feel like the shine had come off a lot this year.

Next year is going to be a big test, particularly if the ratings keep dropping.

Records have fallen across the Foxtel Group following a triumphant return to Las Vegas as fans flocked to Kayo Sports, Foxtel, Foxtel Now and BINGE to witness an action-packed weekend of rugby league.

With Fox League, on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, the only place to watch all four games of the rugby league extravaganza, coupled with Fox League’s comprehensive top tier coverage, Sunday 2 March was the most streamed day ever for the channel with 144 million minutes streamed.

Expanding the rugby league schedule to include an international women’s game and a Super League game saw the Jillaroos achieving their biggest audience ever across Foxtel and Kayo Sports in their victory over the Lionesses. The Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves game also soared to the top of the most watched Super League game of all time across Foxtel and Kayo Sports. The Penrith Panthers v Cronulla Sharks game was the most-watched game over the weekend, with the game also being the most watched regular season Panthers game ever across Foxtel Group.

Fox League’s comprehensive coverage, expert analysis, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content played a pivotal role in driving audience engagement and delivering an unparalleled viewing experience.

Fox Sports Managing Director Steve Crawley said: “Another great experience unique to the NRL. One day someone will come up with a better way to kick off a national competition but you wouldn’t want to be holding your breath. Amazing Las Vegas. Great games and an amalgamated crowd from around the world determined to have fun. Fox League is chuffed to have been able to present every minute of it to our customers.”

The record-breaking performance on Fox League, across Kayo Sports and Foxtel, reinforces its position as Australia's premier destination for live NRL, as the sport continues to grow and expand.

Why no numbers quoted in that article?

To be expected with 4 games vs normally only 3 and lasting 10 hrs.

Expanding the rugby league schedule to include an international women’s game and a Super League game saw the Jillaroos achieving their biggest audience ever across Foxtel and Kayo Sports in their victory over the Lionesses.

To be expected. I doubt they ever would have played in between 2 NRL games

The Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves game also soared to the top of the most watched Super League game of all time across Foxtel and Kayo Sports.

Nearly every previous one would be in the middle of the night for us, so again to be expected.

The Penrith Panthers v Cronulla Sharks game was the most-watched game over the weekend, with the game also being the most watched regular season Panthers game ever across Foxtel Group.

Most watched regular season Panthers game, but not even most watched Sharks game? If it's a massive number, this is a weird way to brag about it.

Dragons dogs eels tigers yet to go. Do that and it will break Foxtel. You probably won’t see it though as the crowds would be high in Sydney.

Maybe odd games with generally poor attendance would be good.

Nth QLD vs someone

So basically - you need 2 decent teams a year, with a few crappier ones and that’s that. Everyone will watch as it’s an event. I actually thought of going to the pub to watch the whole day, that would have been a long day - instead I watched on my iPad/iPhone the 2-3 games I wanted to watch and rest I had other things to do. Anyone doing stadia upgrades should host a game.

- 1x QLD team vs SYD TEAM - home Sydney game replacement
- 1x premium game but never broncos as we lose 40k crowd plus.

NRL will be due for massive crowds with 50k for broncos weekly considering their roster. Drags, Tigers, Dogs, eels should be better this year, I think we’re on target for a bumper year.

Old Rupe doesn't own Fox Sports Aus anymore. (or soon wont)
Attitudes don’t change overnight. We’re the premium product that gets paid as an inferior. Makes no sense. PVL has done a great job so far, Stan and Fox are going to fight it out and we’re going to max out unless PVL supports Fox for Vegas etc. I would say that maybe fox is showing us the love before the rights goes into negotiation.

Is Vegas weekend as big as origin? @wookie.

If it is, I would add another “Vegas” mid year - which could be HK / Singapore?
