All of those have had 9 games to 8.
NRL had only 1 live FTA game for those early deals.

RL was in the place it is was not due to the ARLC, The ARLC had to right the ship and slowly has

So News Ltd Gallop done the 2013 deal , next up the 2018 deal was botched by Mr Smith, but mostly fixed by Grant. The AFL did a (6) year deal AND of course only talked about the total amount which made them seem bigger that it was. From memory $380m NRL to $400m AFL pa. Not a drubbing. So on it goes .... so what was last year deal worth for the NRL and AFL , (NRL $415m to AFL $425m for 2024 FACT ) 2% in it... ..New deal soon to be done. Lets see what happens. Maybe a new deal starting early with a 7 year record, we will see.

You're one of those are you? In both scenarios the current administration is trying to build following a legacy of failure.

Besides, similar to Trump losing in 2020, Vlandys taking an L on the last broadcast rights will ultimately probably be great for this round of negotiations.

His ego is too big not to get this done, he knows it's the only thing left for him to achieve and his legacy ultimately will ride on this upcoming deal.
