Tigers still have to be favourites, they SHOULD improve but they still have to go out there and do it.

Lose Luai and that’s all she wrote.

They are paying $2.70 to finish bottom 4, I think that’s stealing money.

Why is everyone sleeping on the Cowboys? They're are geniune chance.

Our B squad just got towelled up, by a team whose star player was Jake Averillo

There are some strong candidates

Tigers - They are the spooners until they aren't. I do think they will get some more wins this year especially at the start when their draw is favourable
Titans - Always give themselves a chance at this award
Raiders - Very young squad who could bottom out under the right circumstance although I see it as unlikely
Dolphins - I have huge fears for them post Bennett
Warriors - Awful last year and have lost both Johnson and Harris for 2025
Knights - A Pongs injury away from being the favourites
Dragons - Least likely on the list IMO as their coach is top shelf. Would take a big injury toll

I'm going with Eels though. They are better than some of the teams above but I got a feeling the place is going to implode with the Moses/Brown contract situations and the leadership void with Gutho gone

Warriors also lost AFB which is arguably their biggest loss.

Murray is a huge loss for an already average pack. Feel bad for Souths fans. Wayne can eat shit though, he’s probably already looking to move elsewhere.

Tallis Duncan's time to step up. TBH the Murray news will once again mask the question of why the f*** Souths keep persisting with Latrell as a fullback when his body clearly cannot keep up with the demand, at training or in games.

Cameron Murray snapped his achilles at training today... AND Latrell did his hamstring.

Lock us in for the spoon.

Murray is a big loss but there is enough juice in the rest of that pack.

Arrow
Koloamatangi
Keppie
Duncan

Kolo is a bigger loss than Murray in terms of yardage. He needs to be put in cotton wool.

I think Bennett will get plenty out of guys like Host, Havili and Moale. Campbell-Graham and Wighton are good for tough carries as well. Consideration needed on how they fix their kick return metres (Dead last in 2024).

And what Souths definately need is a general play kicker. Wighton ended up with the most kick metres in 2024...3rd last for total kick metres in the comp. If Lewis Dodd needs to do anything its kick long.
