More media about a 50,000 crowd at Accor on Good Friday:

After opposition GA sold out yesterday, the Burrow is now sold out.

Also all bays on Level 4 East are either allocated (401-404), on sale (406-409) or sold out (410-412), except bay 405.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Level 3 North and maybe a sprinkling of seats on sale on Level 6 East this time tomorrow. A Bulldogs style $10 saver ticket promoted during the Thursday night game would be a pretty innovative way to get more bums on seats (but South Sydney's marketing savvy on that front is still stuck in 1908).

Predictions

Dolphins v Manly: 10,000
Souths v Bulldogs: 42,000
Panthers v Storm: 20,000
Dragons v Cowboys: 13,000
Titans v Broncos: 25,000
Sharks v Wahs: 13,000
Knights v Raiders: 24,000
Eels v Tigers: 27,000

Total: 174,000
Avg: 21,750

Though hoping we can get more around 50k for the souths bulldogs game, and maybe panthers can snag a few more for their game. Otherwise most of the other games are at capacity or close to

My mate messaged me this morning and said still some level 1 tickets available. If so it’s quite poor I feel Souths could’ve tried to promote the game a bit more or offered 3-4K cheaper tickets. Apparently you have to buy the tickets through ticketmaster mind you and I’ve had to do so at times before and that is a dogs breakfast not as straightforward as Ticketek I don’t like the ticketmaster sight. If there are still level 1 seats available maybe we are looking at 38-39k or there abouts unless things pick up today. Hopefully there is a couple of thousand walk ups who get tickets at the gate tomorrow.

For some context on the Easter Monday discussion. Crowds so far at each stadium:

Accor:
2014 - 50,668
2015 - 35,510
2016 - 36,112
2017 - 28,249
2018 - 30,420
2021 - 29,056
2023 - 28,611

Commbank:
2019 - 29,047
2022 - 28,366
2024 - 28,608
2025 - 26,145

Currently I’d think it could get 35-40k at Accor with some cheaper tickets and Easter Show crowd walk ins. If both teams hit early form one year could be looking at 20k+ more than Commbank can fit.

If it was looking like a 50k possibility (such as if Eels and Tigers were both top 4 haha) I like to think the NRL should step in and overrule Parra playing it at Parra Stadium.

Just went onto ticketmaster GA northern and southern end still available plenty of seats in 406 and 407. Might not hit 40k maybe around the 37-38k mark
