Last two Bathurst games have pulled the max 12000, I don’t see how this game wouldn’t sell out again considering it’s two of the top teams.

Looking through the draw here at LU to find the upside potential for this year club by club, I was surprised to see that in round 23 the Bunnies and Eels will be playing at "Sydney Football Stadium (1988-2018)" instead of Allianz. Dust off the flux capacitors, boys.

Edit: It's been changed to Allianz now. The Space-Time Continuum is safe!

Could be a big round of crowds again a great way to start the season

Article confirms that the Panthers v Sharks game is on track for another sellout and that capacity is at its 'standard' capacity with no temporary seating brought in.

Capacity for the venue is technically 13,000 (https://www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/fil...s/bathurst-town-centre-master-plan-report.pdf) though I imagine the crowd will be announced as 12,000 for a third consecutive year.

Looking at some of the Ticketmaster games for this weekend.

Warriors v Raiders:
Lot more Grandstand seats available for this one than the Roosters game this far out. Surprised more people didn't take advantage of the 'You win, we win offer' the Warriors offer for 48 hours after a victory. Still trending for 20K+ comfortably, should hopefully be sold out before Friday.

Roosters v Rabbitohs
Most tickets that are going to be released for this game are now on sale, with exception of the back 10-15 rows of Level 2 north (most of that equivalent section in Level 2 south has now been sold). I imagine they are holding off selling them to try and push people into the more expensive seats.

Match would currently be in high 20's - low 30's, especially as there will be a big members & sponsors turn out.

Dragons v Storm
Encouraging signs for the Dragons v Storm game so far. Hopefully the club releases the back 3 rows in the north stand and the restricted view seats earlier in the week so the momentum can continue for the game. Should comfortably hit 15K on current pre-sales, chance of pushing 18K.

Transport for NSW is planning for a 30,000+ crowd for the Roosters v Rabbitohs at Allianz on Friday night.

Recent history shows this game has had no problems drawing over 35,000 at Moore Park, but it would be nice to see both the NRL and South Sydney pushing AJ's all time try record being in play to move more product faster.

Looks a good crowd at Win. But the visitors area looks pretty empty.

I can’t see Tigers not selling out, we have 3 road games after this one. I reckon once the team lists are out it’ll move pretty quickly and sell out on Thursday or Friday
Pre-sales are definitely encouraging for Leichhardt. Latchem Robinson Stand and Keith Barnes Stands are both sold out, less than 100 tickets left in the concourse (most in 13A), so long as the weather is fine it will definitely go close.

Some really solid movement on Level 2, especially on Level 2 north since yesterday's update for Friday's Roosters v Rabbitohs clash.

Carrington gets 12,000 every year. Would be packed to the rafters at that.

Rather embarrassing really, the supposed two biggest rivals playing primetime on a Friday night, with AJ going for one of the longest standing records in the game. The NRL couldn't have scripted a better scenario.

If you're a Souths fan, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Should have sold out Monday.

Those South stand seats are the cheaper ones, they'll move. I'd imagine the other blueys will move too.

The Broncos have about 4-5k left to sell - but they are moving at a snails pace due to the pricing, so if they want a sellout, they can get it with a price reduction.

Broad, but it will be 37-40k on Thursday.

It's "rather embarrassing" that a game that hasn't sold out on Monday will instead follow recent history and either sell out (or, as recent history shows) come very close to selling out by kick-off? Groundbreaking.

Here's a breakdown of regular season NRL crowds between the Roosters and South Sydney at Moore Park since Allianz Stadium reopened in September 2022:

2022: 41,906 in R25
2023: 36,639 in R3
2024: 37,594 in R3
2025: 41,604 in R27
Average: 39,436

Based on the movement of ticket sales so far, there's nothing to suggest this won't sell out, especially as hype builds and the weather stabilises in Sydney.
