Was going to go, but saw the prices for a top tier seat ($110) and passed on it. I paid $85 for a western side level 1 seat at a semi final behind the Cronulla bench in 2024.Look at 35-40k obviously the pricing is right, and for AJ I'm spending the cash, but holy cr*p I don't like this trend of $100+ a ticket for a regular season match.
This pricing has a negative flow on effect on average crowds too. Instead of going to two games at $50, a fan will only attend one game at $100, thus reducing attendance at smaller profile matches. The NRL needs to remember it is a working class game. We need a fans association like the AFL has, to stop the price gouging.
