Look at 35-40k obviously the pricing is right, and for AJ I'm spending the cash, but holy cr*p I don't like this trend of $100+ a ticket for a regular season match.
Was going to go, but saw the prices for a top tier seat ($110) and passed on it. I paid $85 for a western side level 1 seat at a semi final behind the Cronulla bench in 2024.

This pricing has a negative flow on effect on average crowds too. Instead of going to two games at $50, a fan will only attend one game at $100, thus reducing attendance at smaller profile matches. The NRL needs to remember it is a working class game. We need a fans association like the AFL has, to stop the price gouging.

Seems it was very humid so that might have been it but personally I think having 4 games at suncorp in the first 2 weeks was a bad idea and I hold fears for the dolphins crowd.

Adding the dolphins was meant to result in a game every week at suncorp, not two a week. The ground needs a break around magic round so I get it has to happen once or twice a season but to start the season seems bizarre and a saturation of the market.
I imagine the Women's AFC has contributed to it, with CBus, Accor & CommBank Stadiums being out of action for the first few rounds, though agree that the way they've structured Rounds 1 & 2 have made it difficult for the Phins.

Giving Phins v Titans 5:15pm on a Sunday was a poor choice anyway, even if the Broncos hadn't been also scheduled at home.

For Bris v NQ at Suncorp, I'm paying $110 to sit in shit seats up high in bay 717 as that was all i could get a few years ago that would get you a half decent seat in the lower bays. I get there's a supply and demand and post premiership effect on the price of tickets but that is more than what i paid for a premium prelim ticket 3 years ago at QCB.

If we continue to play this shithouse the demand at that price will dry up so dramatically

Can't blame the bandwagoners with this diabolical pricing

Ironic given the hoo-haa PVL made about merch prices being too steep. Maybe he ought to do something about ticket prices, people more likely to buy merch if they`re going to games.
I don't believe the NRL have any input in what clubs charge for thier home games. That's a club issue.

Regarding merch, I think the NRL has done a good job in the areas they can control. $99 for a Kangaroos and Jillaroos jersey is pretty nice compared to what NRL jerseys cost.

It’s crazy how many games sell out in nz now

They need to be taking more nrl games around nz outside of Auckland each year especially with the new stadium in Christchurch
They have ANZAC day game in Wellington this year as well but they should be looking at 1 or 2 games at Eden park when they're playing someone like the Broncos for instance.

In any case, NZ is drastically under serviced for NRL games! NZ2 ASAP!
