45,882No Broncos crowd?
Oh no the Titans music... How low can it go?Currently at 86,210 after 3 games. Should get 60K+ across the three games tomorrow based upon pre-sales and weather, so won't need much between Raiders & Titans to finish with a 20K+ average for the round.
If I was the NRL I would promote an "NRL Sydney Super Fan" membership (someone can come up with a better name). It helps that all the Melbourne based AFL clubs can sell home & away memberships. Throw in the fact that every game in Melbourne is only at two possible venues makes it easier to build the habit in the more fanatical fans as well.
I've been saying for a while that the NRL should be giving financial incentives for clubs to improve their attendance. Some of the crowds are low because clubs get greedy - if money is their motive we should use it.Imagine if the NRL got ahead and made a deal with all the clubs for $20 GA at home games all year and promoted it as relief from the cost of living crisis. They could get some amazing PR from it.
Not watching the game but saw a clip on instagram crowd looks very small?
Last time Bulldogs hosted Newcastle they drew 24,113. Crowd looks similar with again everyone not wanting to sit staring into the sun.Camera side (the shade) is much busier than the non camera side looking into the sun. But yeh, doesn't look big.
Yeah I'd be surprised if they don't name 20K for this. My first thought was around 23K when I turned it on.It's comfortably over 20k I think.
