Currently at 86,210 after 3 games. Should get 60K+ across the three games tomorrow based upon pre-sales and weather, so won't need much between Raiders & Titans to finish with a 20K+ average for the round.

Oh no the Titans music... How low can it go?

It helps that all the Melbourne based AFL clubs can sell home & away memberships. Throw in the fact that every game in Melbourne is only at two possible venues makes it easier to build the habit in the more fanatical fans as well.
If I was the NRL I would promote an "NRL Sydney Super Fan" membership (someone can come up with a better name).

This would permit access to:
- All games at Accor, Allianz and CommBank
- State of Origin at Accor
- Reduced price tickets to other Sydney grounds
- Priority access for Finals and Grand Final
- Public transport free on game days

Does anything like this exist? Building up this sort of hard-core fan culture is the way to increase crowds.

Imagine if the NRL got ahead and made a deal with all the clubs for $20 GA at home games all year and promoted it as relief from the cost of living crisis. They could get some amazing PR from it.
I've been saying for a while that the NRL should be giving financial incentives for clubs to improve their attendance. Some of the crowds are low because clubs get greedy - if money is their motive we should use it.

Actually shocked by that Brisbane crowd. I had the same schedule as round one, and everything was less busy. Caxton at, Roma st, members bar.

Corporate areas must have been very busy.

Our crowds are unbelievably one sided this year though, it felt like there were about 800 Phins fans there.
