Is not 8k because they're playing at kogarah. It's 8k because they're shit and boring.

.

problem is that even when they are doing well, they top out at 16k

meanwhile, bottom of the table Parramatta are consistently average 18-20k (so in their good years, they will easily push 30k)

Dragons at Kogarah (when the SFS is 20 minutes drive / 40 minutes train away) is beyond justification…

I doubt grocery shopping would be a legit blocker but yes kids sport is valid as well as other social events which generally happen on Saturdays.

On a personal note I find sundays harder due to my own sport so wondering how many others are in the same boat.

Regardless, we outdrew dogs against a common opponent in comparable slots so the club is going well.

I prefer the Sunday 2 pm time slot as it still isn't dark when the game finishes, gives you enough time afterwards to have a couple of drinks and debrief about the game with friends before either heading home or out for dinner.

I actually don't mind the Saturday 3 pm time slot which also works in well with what i said above but preference is the Sunday one. I do like going to one of the local farmers markets on Saturdays so shopping sort of is a legitimate thing there but that's only roughly once a month and if the football is scheduled for that time slot when my team is playing the footy wins hands down.

Also seating map for Newcastle... shame they can't open up even small parts of the Andrew John's upper grandstand...
