Had a horrible feeling when he went down untouched (though I think I saw him hobble a bit a few plays prior).
Hope his recovery goes well and he can stay healthy from here on.

All things considered, PCL is good news. I think we all thought ACL the minute he went down. PCLs usually have a pretty full recovery rather quickly.

A PCL rupture is really not much better than an ACL rupture. Will mean surgery and rehab with 6-12 months recovery.

Given he had good stability in the knee it's unlikely a grade 3 (full rupture) so that's a least good news

Not all PCLs require surgery. Will depend what grade it is. Grade 1 and 2 often don’t need surgery, just some rest and physio.

I suspect they would have picked it up on ground, if not in the sheds if it was a full rupture. The word was the knee was completely stable, which is why he was left out there. He was also walking freely post-match.

I'll be very surprised if that's the case.

Yeah pretty much what I said, stable knee = not a full rupture

Even a grade 2 means he can walk etc but will be out for up to 2 months. That looks to be our worst case at the moment

I'm surprised Friz even got a fine (but we'll take it), it's unfortunate the bloke got injured but there were none of the usual elements you see with a cannonball.
