Really?? seems implausible!!, in my experience there aren't too many co-incidences, funny how Bennet went to Knights and Scott also went there in 2012. You must have spoken to Beau when he left in 2011? If it is the case that the dragons did not want him add that to the other thousand stupid decisions that this club has made in the last 15 years.
Yes I also was under the impression that Scott had signed with the Knights beforehand, however it’s all water under the bridge now .
Thought Newcastle offered him 4 years; similar to McInness and if I remember correctly until the Lomax resigning later on we never really offered anyone more than 3 years….. could be wrong..
Then Ben Hunt came along and justified why the 3 years max rule should have stood. Longest contract offered and clearly a huge mistake. Hopefully KK can give Saints a quality 5 years which I am sure he will.
