I agree with Cole, he was the best option. Wishart plays anywhere cause he never established himself as a starting half, ive said for a while most good utilities are just halves that never cracked it, like Cole looks like hes heading.

Im just pointing that the criticism Ivans for carrying a half at all is ridiculous, its very easy for me to make that look silly, its a general, lazy observation that isnt close to accurate. You have put some thought it into it and your argument seems to be he shouldve used a different half or used the minutes differently, not that he should never carry a half.

It isn't ridiculous because with the games evolution. Guys like Crossland are perfect example of a half but he can do a job elsewhere in the pack.

If Ivan is going to carry a half. The half needs to be trusted at 13 and a prop in the 17 needs to be flexible to play on an edge.
