Henry was not lighting it up before injury so Phillips is getting better with every game .Leave a winning team as is

It's a long season, Liam Henry will be back in at some point, but for now Phillips is doing great, loved his awareness to be there for the Ice offload after the harbor bridge pass from Dyl. Liam will need to bide his time in cup when he is back.

In 3 of the 4 matches he's come up with a pass that's led to a try, that Henry wouldn't have been cable of. He at least matches Henry in every other area. Leave him there.

Liam Henry when fit can come back thru NSW cup but when he gets his match fitness back he’ll come back into the 17.

Thats not a knock on Billy Phillips I’ve been talking the kid up for three years but recency bias is playing its part here and Liam Henry is a very good player. Different to Phillips but he is a very good player.

I dunno what the deal with Patea is but we’ve got 6 first grade calibre props. I personally think we ideally have either Sorro or Philips on the bench for that mobile, small middle. You’d think Patea and Philips is it next year and it shapes as a hell of a rotation.

I think it wouldn’t be the worst thing for Billy to be out of the team for a few weeks. He isn’t the biggest middle forward and it’s a long season.

Pick the best player.

It shouldn't worry Phillips if Henry is the preferred option. With Henry leaving Phillips has a spot in our top 17 in 2027. Pays to be patient IMO.

I don’t see a world where Henry could be better than Phillips is now. Look at Phillips vision on the try where Dylan threw the huge pass, there aren’t many middle forwards in the game who would’ve summed that up half as quick as Phillips did.

Why? Phillips 122m 48 pct against Parra. He’s a beast, how often would Henry come up with 48 pct metres? Not often.

He looks exactly like Yeo in his mannerisms. It's uncanny how he's taken to first grade like a fish to water. Huge fan.

Yeah he’s going so well. Henry’s average last year isn’t better than what Phillips is adding.
