WCC is a testament to what can happen when a referee calls what's in front of him without preconceived ideas about certain teams.

The game is obviously refereed a little different over there, the blatant offsides and skinny 10 metres would be pinged here for sure. That being said, Brisbane weren't up to the conditions (1-2deg) and the rules, fair enough though. It's a tough bit of scheduling for Australian sides that make the trek. Hull played tough and gritty, Broncs, rocks and diamonds. Hull deserved that win. Bring a SL side here, they would be mid table at best with our rules, pace and heat.

I'm all for the WCC to be in Vegas with the NRL side having a trial or two under their belt. Maybe an NRL game, a SL game and then the WCC to promote Rugby League, the game, not just the NRL, to help grow the sport.

Forgot this was on and missed it. Did the soap dodgers have to ground the ball over the try line to get points, or did we continue the trend of "somewhere in the vicinity"?

England treats this game as a Champions League Final... That's what makes the difference.
Yeah exactly. As well as the weather, the fact it's pre-season for the NRL, they play a bit of bruise-free stuff not wanting to get injured for the season, the travel...the Pom sides start 12-18 ahead straight away.

Hull KR were the better team. They flew out of the gates. The Broncos didn't start really trying until about 55 minutes or so into the game, but butchered too many chances. The refereeing was solid with no howlers that I saw.
